Very Good Taste!!
Bought these bars for my little brother because he started going to gym and is active. Personally, I am not a fan but my brother LOVES these. The good side is the low sugar count but still lots of protein. I would not say it is filling, but its a good flavor according to my brother.

My favorite "protein bar"/guilty pleasure
I have been eating this protein bar for years now. My freezer looks like one of those looney tunes folks that have like 1000 MREs stored in their bomb shelter just in case...you never know. That and it's summer time kind of hard ordering things that can melt in shipment so I'm planning ahead...yea that justifies my spending. I usually default to quest bars as a "healthy" snack as end of day any processed item is not really your best option when on a cut. However, I am not trying to compete in an IFBB pro and simply follow a 80/90 rule with food. 80 to 90 percent is hand made, unprocessed grains, vegetables, meats, etc. and the other 10 to 20% are still healthy options just with more processed nonsense IE beef jerky off the shelf, prepackaged trail mix, and in this case a protein bar. Calorie wise it's one of the lower calorie count bars IE amount of calories vs. protein received. I am not a fan of the whole "dietary fiber" doesn't count nonsense. If it's a calorie add it on the label. Period. Same nonsense you see with diet mountain dew and other tricky marketing to make you think it's zero calorie or lesser calorie when it is but they mask 1 gram to 10 grams depending on the product. I just hate that type of nonsense and it's only allowed in America really. That being said I love this protein bar. It basically tastes like an oreo. It's delicious. What I do is put my protein bars in the freezer whether it's the crisp kind or the standard quest bar. I obviously do not eat it immediately frozen. I let it thaw a bit, but having it slightly frozen forces you to slow down to eat it and provides more chew. This bar comes in at 150 calories while most protein bars are easily 180 to 300+ calories. Is it actually 150 calories when you factor in dietary fiber? Well...depends on your feelings on the whole dietary fiber isn't a real calorie to humans argument. However, if it sets off a calorie bomb test then to me it should be counted as a calorie. But same can be said with amino acids setting off protein gram counts and why some protein powders say they are x amount of protein when it's incomplete amino acids. It's just an industry issue really but either way its one of the lower calorie bars. My rule of thumb is try to keep it under 200 calories. No processed sugars or minimal sugars if possible. Having a good balance of protein, carbs, and fat. Pretty much all of the crunch variations of quest are delicious the coconut, caramel pecan, birthday cake, etc. My favorite regular quest bar is birthday cake but this cookies and cream is the BEST protein bar. Period. Any brand. Of course this is an opinion to each their own. You could criticize some of the ingredients but that can be said of any protein bar unless you make your own. I would recommend NOT ordering these in the summer months. They will melt for sure. Just don't do it. Check the weather in your area unless you can ensure same day delivery even the time it takes in the amazon truck can melt them. That aside it's a solid snack. I would recommend not eating them on a cut or saving them for a "cheat day" or a day where you are a bit more lax on your intake. Please only order these when the temperature in your area is under 80 degrees and humidity is below 55%. Yes, I am that OCD I know the temperature and humidity to order food items off of Amazon. I do not like quest protein powder either or a lot of quest products are over processed dribble. This is one where they achieved a decent balance and the flavor is on point. It's that simple. I am giving it four stars as no protein bar will ever achieve five stars based on basic nutritional standards. We are not there yet where ingredients are completely unprocessed and protein is not hydrolyzed or inferior in some capacity. Whey and casein protein are solid but end of day these "supplemental" foods are just that. Something you should enjoy occassionally but should not be a major part of your caloric intake. Limit yourself to maybe 2 to 3 bars a week if even. 5 stars on flavor, 4 stars on ingredients, 4 stars on cost.

Shrinkflation.... we LOVE it!
Shrinkflation.... we LOVE it! I've been buying these bars for a while. The texture of these is closer to a rice krispy treat. Quests standard protein bars are doo doo, gritty texture, super artificial tasting. I like the hero bars, cookies and cream then the peanut butter flavors being the best. The texture is great, they don't don't sit heavy in the stomach. The flavors are touch artificial, but nothing like the non-Hero bars. As of June 2025, these bars are smaller. There's three pictures here. One: Quests own photo. Two: another reviewer. Three: Mine, taken August 2025. Note, mine is closer to square. When weighed, its roughly 10g less. Not much, but 10 less per bar on a box of 12 bars means being shorted 120g, which is essentially two bars. I LOVE paying the same price for 16% less product. Lost me as a customer! There's similar rice krispy style protein bars with almost exact macros that aren't shrinking their product. What a joke.
