After award winning master carver Don Mintz completed the carvings of these fully-body decoys, Tanglefree commissioned its cadre of PRO STAFF to begin relentless field testing to develop the finest full-body mallard on the market. All paint shades and patterns were meticulously field tested and critiqued in each flyway until the most alluring colors and patterns were determined. The plastic mold prototypes were tormented so they knew customers could depend on them after years of abusive transports, field set-ups and off-season storage neglect. The one-piece body style allows for quicker decoy set-up time and eliminates lost or damaged decoy heads between hunts. With hens and drakes coming in 4 different decoy postures, hunters can have 1 identical decoy for every 8 decoys in the field.
