Fun for Boys and Girls of All Ages!
As a long time Supergirl fan, it was awesome to see she'd get her own book in this series of DC Super Hero and Villain books! If you are a fan of super heroes yourself, whatever the age, these books are a fun alternative to the dark, ultra violent, sexist stuff over in DC's comics right now. If you are a parent, these are a great way for allowing your children a safe but fun way for them to enjoy the super heroes they see on TV and in movies.This book gives you a strong female character in an adventure that is both entertaining and educational. The reader learns about ways our brain works internally, and there is also a vocabulary section at the end. The book also has bios on the hero and villain of the story, so it also is a fun way to introduce these characters to new readers and fans alike.This is a chapter book with amazing illustrations and is a fun way to introduce younger readers to Supergirl, Brainiac, and the world of DC's super heroes. Whether you read this to your children, they read it themselves, or whether you're an adult fan like me, I highly recommend this book!
