Far from the Madding Crowd (Flame Tree Collectable Classics)

This book is very small about the size of an average sized hand. The font is quite small a bit straining on the eyes. After reading it for about an hour my eyes started to hurt and I had a slight headache. The pages are sort of see through very thin paper. Don’t get me wrong it is a beautiful book but I don’t know if I would recommend it for actual reading from it. Maybe just get it for aesthetics and then get yourself a paperback that you can actually read from.

I just received the book today and I'm in love! I haven't had time to read the book, but this little book is beautiful. Gilded page edges and a satin ribbon for place keeping, it's a lovely book and would make an excellent gift. Keep in mind the book is small, it is perfect to keep in a purse or suitcase, so the print seems a little small. If you have trouble reading smaller prints, it may not be the book for you, but the print is not unreasonably small. I'm looking forward to reading and treasuring this little book! Thank you for an excellent value.
