Best Lotion EVER!
Please never change the packaging and new formula (from Aug 2, 2022). The images now show a new bottle so I'm worried it's changing, but I absolutely love everything about this lotion. I had been getting it for years. They recently changed it to a shorter pump tube with a more lightweight texture and an incredible smell. Ingredients are great, doesn't break out my sensitive skin, it seems to offer decent sun protection, and absorbs into the skin nicely without leaving a thick greasy layer. I wear it under my makeup and sometimes as a night lotion too. My skin is always glowing, soft, and naturally refreshed.

Different, but Nice!
I tried this product as my usual product was discontinued from another company. They were a bit pricey, but they do have good products. So I went searching, I wanted something organic, the less chemicals the better I think we can all attest to these days. I found Om Botanicals and it appeared to meet my criteria and it was reasonably priced. 2 for 2!! I did see several posts about the smell, but agree that with organic things, this can sometimes be the case. I will admit there is an 'earthy' smell to the product, it's not that bad, and once you apply it, it goes away. It's a bit thick for me, so I dampen my fingers before applying and it's easier to spread around, plus I can use less product and have it last longer. It leaves my skin silky smooth, non-greasy, absorbs quickly and easy to apply. I'm glad I gave them a try, I hope they don't discontinue it anytime soon. I'm even considering trying some of their other products as well. I would recommend this product to my friends.

Not very hydrating. . .
So. . . I've been using this moisturizer for about a year and a half. The first few bottles I ordered, I noticed the ingredients changed slightly each time. Didn't seem to change how it worked, though. My last 2 bottles had exactly the same ingredients. I have very sensitive skin and it has never broken me out. I also have incredibly dry skin. I'm 38 and the older I get, the drier it gets. <sigh>. This does not do a great job at moisturizing. For real, it's okay and may work great for some people, but my skin just doesn't feel super moisturized afterwards. I have that problem with a lot of products, though. The reason I stuck with this product for so long was the spf without a white cast. I prefer not to use chemical sunscreens, but natural sunscreens that use mostly zinc or titanium oxide always leave that awful white cast. When I found this product I was so happy! I had been relying on powder spfs and they were drying my skin even more. I just wanted to wear a natural face powder that I wasn't caking on trying to make sure my face was protected. This was such a relief! I have been hating my dry skin lately, though, and finally decided I needed a deeper moisturizer for my face. To get the protection, I ended up finding another moisturizer that again relied on zinc oxide, thinking I would just deal. Nope. I can't stand it anymore. It makes me look so pale. It also left white flakes all over my face. Then I found that if I put a few drops of grapeseed oil on my face and let that sink in for a few minutes, it really helped it not be so sticky and harsh to apply and boosted the moisture even more. So now that I'm fed up with my ghost face, I'm back here ordering this moisturizer again. I'm going to try the grapeseed oil prep with this and see if that helps the moisturizing issue. I wish I didn't have to rely on that, but this has been the best all natural spf for my face I have found, so I'll keep with it for now. Also, for those saying this doesn't work as an spf, the company says their formula should be equivalent to about an spf 15. Not that high for anyone considering using it while being outdoors for long periods of time. I myself try to stay in the shade/wear hats/wear stronger product when going to the pool, beach, etc. So it hasn't been a problem for me in that regard. But even being in the sun for longer periods of time, I've never burned or seen my freckles come out (which always happens when I don't have enough protection on my face). If this product actually moisturized better, it would be perfect! But again, that is just my dry, dry skin. For normal skin, it is probably just fine.

Update added below. First sniff was kinda strong, hang with me here. This stuff is awesome!
Moisturizing: 5 Stars. So much better than some of the heavy creams. That said, I live in AZ and when it's super dry I do follow up with a shea butter cream if I need more moisture.Sun Protection: 4 Stars. I only lasted 35 minutes in the springtime AZ sun before I started to feel the crispiness coming on. While wearing a hat. (But seriously, otherwise I use spf 70 spray because, I am super pale!)Scent: 5 Stars. Initially I went from using unscented creams and moved to this. I pumped some out and it was FRAGRANT! The smell almost knocked me over. -Remember, from unscented to this fragrant cream- Thankfully none of the aroma is from added fragrance, the ingredients are just fragrant.Other things of note: I love the packaging! a huge pet peeve of mine is jars of cream (they expect you to stick your fingers in there every day?? and it is supposed to stay...not icky?? Oh, right they use strong anti-bacterial/fungal agents...so that makes it...ok? -NO- Not on my face, thanks. )So, there is a pump. The opening has a bead. My young child can not bury things for me to find in my face cream at a later date. There are also no chemical preservatives, and the label says everything is natural, vegan, not tested on animals, and made in the USA. It also has an expiration date stamped on the bottom. :)Will absolutely buy again!!**Update- third time purchase, new packaging. Have not opened yet, will update with comparison of product when I do. =^.^=

A little goes a long way
I liked this product when it was in a pump, even though it was a little thick near the end of its contents, but I like it even better now that it is in a tube - the consistency is easier to spread and it absorbs better. It has a fresh, pleasant scent, in my opinion, and I feel that the ingredients are safe. I actually don't know how effective it is as a sunscreen because I always wear a wide brimmed hat anyway, but it seems to moisturize my skin very well.
