Wiegmann SC060604 SC-Series NEMA 1 Screw Cover Wallmount Pull Box with Knockouts, Painted Steel, 6" x 6" x 4",Gray

This steel pull box has the usual knockouts for conduit and cable connectors. It's well made, and a good match for its intended use.

Believe it or not it is possible to screw up something as simple as “metal box” so I figured I should post a review to say this one is good. The metal is thick, the powder coat is good, the knockouts are not too hard to remove, and the metal is soft enough to drill easily if needed to mount things. I can’t find much to complain about. It’s also designed for use with self-tapping screws if you do need holes.

It's an electrical box, it works. Wires I have coming into the box are, 3x 10 awg THHN ground wires and 6x 8awg THHN wires. Each set of 3 are connected with 4-14 awg polaris connectors. There's plenty of room for the 9 total wires and 3 connectors. This was a must over my previous 4"x4" box which would have been a tight fit.The cover is super easy to remove and put on making access to the wires convenient.

Indoor or inside install only.

Old school quality,by that I mean way better than todays junk.

Perfect for what I needed. Just moved into our house and had a overstuffed 4X4 overstuffed junction box (5 cables running into it), that did not even have the cover on it. No way to stuff all of those connections into such a small box (physically or safely) . This was the perfect solution. Sturdy construction (probably a bit of overkill for my application), price was right and of course can't beat prime shipping!

You can’t love Wiegmann boxes (I think that Hubbel owns them now). They are tanks - built very well, look good and easy to wall mount.
