Holy macaroni! Where is the thread?
I received this stuff in the mail and looked at it. hmmm... it doesn 't look so invisible to me. yes, I thought as I stretched it out that it's kind of invisible. Oh well, until I read the directions that say this thread is actually 144 threads bundled up into one and you have to tease out a single thread!!!! Holy macaroni! Well I did tease out 1 very long piece and it sure as shootin is invisible. You have got to be careful with it and wrap it around a playing card slowly so you don't lose it. I recommend you tape one end down to a playing card while you are teasing it out. Seriously, this stuff is almost impossible to see , unless its flat against a light colored surface, and even then its practically invisible. Now about the strength.Even though you can't see it, it has a reasonable amount of strength to it and I would say that it could lift a quarter easily. So this stuff is amazing and really is invisible but it takes some skill and some work.

I bought this on a small spool. Its the size of an American Nickel.
The amount of thread is quite small, but is way easier than buying tights then cutting off the toe and followed by fishing out the principal strand to perform a standard effect. If your in the market for this the price is right. Hopefully you have some sort of spool to get the appropriate strands separated. If you don't i'll recommend a book called The Art of Invisible Thread by Jon LeClair.

The Emperor actually has no clothes!
I always wondered how they made the invisible suit for the emperor in the short story, "The Emperor Has No Clothes."But seriously this stuff is difficult to work with because when you separate the strands out (tweezers help), it's really hard to see the invisible strands. And a little hard to work with because they are mostly invisible but like probably people who are into invisible string are the kind of people who understand that practice makes purpose and try try again ...I've had a little trouble getting this to stick on wax to hold it to a nickel but again here , practice etc.

The product was probably ok but I couldn’t use it because Of the glass.
The media could not be loaded. This isn’t a review really of the product because it probably would have worked fine. Unfortunately, the product was unusable due to broken glass in the package and actually stuck to the product. A shame really.
