Is this used for the main source of food for gliders?

Nope, this is not the main source. I'm a new glider owner, but from what I have read, only about 1/4 of their food should be protein. So I feed this feed for the protein every day, but the other 3/4 of their diet is fresh fruit (mine love cantaloupe, apple, grapes etc) and I dust a calcium/vitamin power to the top of their fruit every other day. I like mix things up and give them a piece of hard boiled egg once in a while or a splash of yogurt or sometimes even a little peach baby food. I have tried several brands of pellet protein food but this is the only one they liked. Hope that helps. :) They seem healthy so far.....

Does this make the gliders stink like mealworms do?

This is a great question and I will say no. Mealworms are high in protein and fat, and this food is balanced in protein and carbs, lower in fat. Is your male un-neutered? A good balanced diet should not make gliders stink more or less... un-neutered males just stink more, regardless of diet.

Haven't tasted it myself but seems to be enjoyed.

I have used this product for several years for my three gliders following the Happy Glider diet. Initially, I have followed BML and OHPW diets but became concerned after revealing some underlying dental issues likely caused by not having enough "substance" to keep teeth clean. I ended up losing one glider after her dental disease impaired her ability to eat and became malnourished. After switching to a kibble based diet I do feel the dental health of my babies has improved and they seem to enjoy it as well! I do recommend adding at least some kibble, regardless of which diet you choose to follow.

I like this brand very much for an all around pellet food for my sugar gliders.I just add a different variety of fruits, veggies, and different fans.They seem to like it.I like the size too.

The only pellets made just for Sugar Gliders!

THE only dry food made just for Sugar gliders with human grade food ingredients...there are no fillers, by-products, corn or soy ingredients in these pellets!My gliders love these wholesome balance chicken and brown rice kibbles. I leave some of these in the cages just for daytime snacking, although not a staple diet. I have been purchasing them from Suncoast sugar gliders since 2012. I am glad they are now available on Amazon! :)
