These are very handy for all sorts of light duty uses. I don't know the weight limit, but these are plastic! They might hold a pound or more, but they'll probably sag eventually, like a plastic clothes hanger does, if items are heavy. (They are the thickness of some clothes hangers.) I have a wire shelf unit in my kitchen, and I use them for hanging tote bags, pot holders, etc. -- things I want handy and not inside the cabinets. I also use one near my door or desk for things I want to remember to take. In the utility room, there are many things to hang up -- gardening items, etc. I like the fun colors -- some sellers offer only one or two colors. It's a great alternative to installing a permanent hook.

I bring these on trips and I use them in my shower to hang bathing suits or wash cloths. In mycloset. they're great for bags. In my car, they're perfect for hanging a plastic bag for trash or to hang masks from. These hooks are certainly handy.
