JW Pet Bad Cuz Dog Toy, assorted colors,Medium, Multi (43168)

My dog loves these balls! He's only 7lb full grown and has a hard time with any ball but this one. The small and medium are perfect for his size. He can chew on it all day and it won't break down. The feet are soft and thin making it easy for him to pick up and carry. He will play fetch with this for hours if you leave him.

JW is one of the better dog toy brands I've bought. They hold up fairly well for the cost and my dogs (and I to some extent as well) have enjoyed the slight innovations and tweaks that have come from their toys (although I maintain they screwed up with dropping the Ruffians line....one of the BEST squeak toys I've ever bought). As a result, I am rounding this up to four stars. Were it not for the history I've had with them ...this would be coming in at 3.Now, as to this toy, I find (generally speaking) any squeak toy opens you up for a less-durable toy. With my dogs, they are capable of dismantling a toy in record time in spite of the fact their breed isn't known for being especially strong chewers. They just...revel...in destroying toys. They find a weak spot and focus it down until it's garbage. So for this, I had to get creative. I kept a sharp eye on them until the feet started becoming snacks and took it away. I then cut off what remained of the feet to make it more ball-like and it gets much more life that way without giving them a starting point on those feet. The first time around, they ended up ripping it in half. Maybe, perhaps, you might want to just skip to that step based on your dog.If you get the medium size, without the feet, it's about as big a tennis ball (little bit larger) whereas the large one is closer to a cantelope (little smaller). The medium just seems to work better for my dogs. It's easier to squeak and easier to carry around. The large one just kind of gets gnawed on wherever it lies (although the feet have held on longer) and they have yet to officially squeak it.All in all, as long as you don't expect to leave your dog alone with this, I can wholly recommend it. However, (as with most speak toys) I find this is a toy that, unless your dog is on the gentler side, requires a little more "attentiveness" from the pet owner than other toys....especially with those ******* feet.

We have purchased this same product multiple times. Our dog will push the squeaker in over a long period of time, 8-10 months. When the squeaker come unattached, it always will go inside the toy, so our MoJo won't choke on it. It lasts so much longer than any other squeaky toy we have ever purchased, and he is hard on his squeaky toys. We love that it is made in the USA

Dogs and puppies need toys! Without toys they tend to get themselves into trouble chewing on other things ... like your furniture, shoes and so on! Prevent setting your puppy/dog up for failure! Provide lots of toys in different textures and sizes and colors! This toy cuz is perfect for dogs and puppies! This is the perfect size for labs.... but they do come in different sizes! These toys bounce in different unpredictable ways and dogs love them.... in addition they are very durable and strong!!! They also have a squeak when squeezed or chewed on.... the squeaker is built into the rubber keeping it safe for puppies!!!! I highly recommend these!!!

These are good toys (4 stars if Amazon shipped the right ones instead of I don't where they got these).As other reviewers note, the feet (and horns) tend to be chewed off quickly so don't give unsupervised to a dog that swallows pieces or a new dog where you don't know if they will. One of our dogs Is a very destructive 75# pit mix and he could destroy one of these in seconds. However, he adopts them as his little buddies (after chewing the feet off) and carries them around and sleeps with them. It takes him months till he get bored and chews out the squeaker. Only other things he adopts like this is one Kong squeaker gel and real bones. He will carry rawhides around like these but most rawhides don't last more than a few minutes. Jumbo ones last less than hour. Huge 3-6ft ones will last long as he will carry them around as trophies. But once another dog starts on it, he will then finish it before they get it again.However, dogs love these. They are supposed to have a vanilla scent which a lot of dogs like. Not all dogs like (smell?) of rubber so the vanilla seems to help widen the appeal. I ordered a large quantity of these (seemingly good price at the time) but Amazon shipped them in only 2 colors and the had NO vanilla smell. They also appeared to be old. Not sure if very old stock that lost the vanilla scent or counterfeit ones Amazon picked up somewhere. JW is a quality brand so possible someone would counterfeit them.I couldn't believe Amazon would ship these. I thought maybe only the good cuz had the the vanilla and wrote JW to confirm that the bad cuz should always have vanilla. Never heard back (JW went down a lot in our eyes for this). Checked them in stores and the bad cuz DID have vanilla. Only difference is the little horns. Good & bad each come in the same 3 sizes and both have the vanilla scent. I waited too long for JW reply and now to late to return these.Summary.Don't buy from Amazon.Buy the good instead of the bad as the horns will get chewed off anyway.4 stars for the good cuz with the vanilla scentwould give 4.5 stars with no feet (not needed)give 5 stars if more durable compound

I got an older version of this toy years back. Same brand. Same size.Just not the same. Toy is ever so slightly larger but now has an additional squeak hole. The old red one squeaks loud and easy. New one? Not so much.
