Good fit in dash locations for 2013 Lexus ES350, improvement over stock speakers

I needed a pair of 4" speakers with 2 ohms impedance to replace a factory pair that were mounted under the dash of my 1998 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. The factory installed system was an 8 speaker Infinity unit with an amp that has all 2 ohm speakers and I didn't want to upset the crossover balance or loudness of the original setup by using any other ohm rating. Ultimately, after much searching these were the ONLY 2 ohm, 4" diameter speakers to be found anywhere. I thought the price was a bit high but it turns out that they are definitely worth it!By the way, I had entered the make and model of my Montero into Amazon's system and I was warned that these speakers would NOT fit my vehicle, let me tell you that's wrong! I took a chance and they do fit, it's a bit snug with the tweeter sticking out above the main cone but I did not have to modify anything to get them into the original mounting spaces. The original speakers did not have a tweeter at all, just a single paper cone that had rotted completely away. I ended up setting the tweeter boost to the +3 position because they aim slightly downward under the dash and the added boost really brought the highs out. I am very pleased and would definitely buy again, highly recommended!

Replaced the front speakers in a Mercedes 190E-2.6, fit not bad, removed one mounting tab for one side and trimmed the foam supplied on the underside of rim a touch thinner would be nice, but they fit!The replaced ones were not factory but Sonys that the surrounds deteriorated / non-existent...no wonder sounded so bad. These new ones are great! I hope they continue to make these and not try to make them better...it will just get screwed-up- ya find something good then the company discontinues it for something "better"... These are great speakers, leave them alone! ...oh I listen to mostly classical and jazz, no need for boom boom noisy non-musical shaking bass.

It worked to my satisfaction and sounds as good as the factory installed speakers that my car came from the factory with, and fit perfect.

The first pair they sent me was damaged, I contacted the seller and I was immediately issued an RA and a shipping label, sent them back and a new pair arrived around a week week and a half later in perfect condition.Once installed they sound excellent, but, you need bass blockers for these. They cannot handle my stock stereo and distort when playing the stereo at high volume. I dont listen to hip hop or rap or any of that garbage so I am not riding around bumping or anything but I do enjoy loud music. I replaced all of the speakers in my 2006 Scion Xb with Infinity Reference speakers. 6 1/2" component speakers in the front doors, 5 1/2" Coaxils in the back and these in the dash. Everything is clear and crisp but these definetly cannot handle very much bass. So I order Schosche Bass blockers and will install them when they arrive.WORD OF ADVICE: Do not beleive Amazons "See if it fits" feature.....It was wrong on 2 out of 3 of the speakers. It told me these wouldnt fit, Cruthcfield and other sites told me they would. Amazon said the 6 1/2" wouldnt fit in my front doors and I needed the 5 1/2" speakers so I ordered those and fortunately I live close to the shipper and was able to drive there and exchange them for the correct size.Overall, Infinity makes a great, clear and awesome speaker.

After a couple of tries with other products, I was able to end up with these to replace the speakers in my 1995 Toyota Avalon. These blew away the Alpine 4" comparable model. These have the best volume and sound quality. I matched mine with a basic Alpine dashboard unit. If you have to go with such a small speaker, these might well be the best you can get.

I purchased these to replace the blown worn out and disintegrated speakers in my 87 corolla.. with a new head unit. and could not believe that they sound almost exactly the same. they fit very well and installation was easy however i just can not believe the quality.. horrible. these are loudspeakers.. if you want tone and depth these arent for you if you want nostalgia and ear piercing goodness these are great! I would happily return them but i had to bend two of the mounting flanges to install them. so i will take one for team infinity. never again

Got a pair of these for my 85' vanagon. I was a bit leery at first- how could these tiny little things do anything? But alas, they preform beautifully. I do not listen to music that incorporates bass of any kind, but it does pick up the lows quite nicely, and the mid and high levels are crisp and clear. I can turn them up as loud as I please without any distortion. After using broken, salvaged speakers for a year these are a blessing on my ears. Nothing like some clean sound to aid driving on any roadtrip.
