I love dark chocolate and it's rare that I don't enjoy it. This item fits into the "don't enjoy" category. These bars are very hard and shatter into little pieces when you bite into a piece. The shattered pieces don't melt in your mouth easily so a chocolate dust sits in your mouth. I've never encountered chocolate quite like this before. The "BEST BY" date is months in the future, so it's not been sitting in a factory too long.

The chocolate and peanut butter is very creamy and melts in your mouth. It has the perfect balance of peanut butter to chocolate. Overall, a rich and velvety chocolate bar that leaves my mouth craving for more.

I think I had slightly higher expectations for these than I should have. They are perfectly good dark chocolate, just not a new favorite or anything that blows me away. They are VERY hefty bars, definitely multiple servings in each. The chocolate, while certainly better than convenience store brands, just doesn't have the refined, really flavorful profile of some of the brands I usually choose. But maybe I'm just being a snob, and I'd totally grab one in a pinch if craving chocolate! I didn't notice a lot of saltiness with the almonds, so that's worth considering if you chose it in part for the salted flavor.

These peanut butter candy bar 8 pack are made in New York. They have milk chocolate with a peanut butter filling. The husband liked them so I guess I will need to hide a few for the kids. The chocolate part was tasty and peanut butter filling was smooth. There are 5 break-off sections to each bar so you can nibble at leisure or even share a pieced or two.

These bars are pretty good and actually bigger than I thought they’d be. They are a little bit more chocolate than peanut butter, not overly sweet, but they are good and I’d get them again. Really want to try the other flavors too.
