All the parts and bins move and shake around. Also there’s a lot of un utilized space inside. Could fit 2 more bins at least.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this watercolor palette. It comes with 12 empty half-pans for you to fill with your own choice of colors. You can also add additional 5 extra half-pans in the center of the pallet. The pans are refillable. The pans snap into the metal strips on each side. I added a glue dot under each pan for a little extra security especially for the middle row. . When I finished filling the pans with watercolor paints I cut out a piece of watercolor paper that fits in the top lid. I wrote down the names of all of the colors in order. I used the reverse side of the wc paper for the middle row colors. I keep this guide in the case.

This tin has it's pros and cons. The hinged lid seems a bit flimsy, and it doesn't close very snugly so be careful if you're traveling with it (perhaps use a rubber band around it). The flip out mixing area, however, is great - iis level and fairly sturdy. The thumb ring doesn't sit flush to the bottom of mine but doesn't really affect it's use in hand or while sitting on a table. I absolutely love the color of the tin.I'd buy it again if something happened to this one.
