I seen a few reviews that suggested that these washcloths did not have good scrubbability, well, they absolutely do scrub well!! I'm 58 years old, I've been in construction for 41 years and these things are outstanding! First and foremost, I've been accidentally wearing eye glasses without UV protection for the past 4-5 years & the sun has singed my eyelashes to a very short length! The loose tufts of regular washcloths have been getting stuck in my eyes for a few weeks, I figured out what it was and decided to do something about it. Found these washcloths, properly washed them, according to instructions & bam, no more lint/tufts getting in my eyes for the last week!! I WILL be purchasing the bath towels in next! (Yes, my tufted bath towels are guilty of the same thing, just, not as much) Well worth the money & I expect the lifespan of these very well made products to be 5+ years, so, in my humble opinion, the cost-benefit analysis is completely worth the expenditure.

Made well, perfect stitching, washes well with no signs of wear, and best yet no lint coming off on you when you use it! Was sick of new towels that need to be washed 20 times before enough lint is gone to be usable (clogging washer with threads) and the dryer screen being completely full of lint after drying. After much research, I took a chance on these and it paid off! These towels are good to go after 1st wash, no threads come off in washing machine, only a small amount of lint in dryer lint screen, and zero lint on towel after drying. Can't believe it took me so long to discover these! They are thin, not soft and fluffy, which I prefer for everyday use because these get you dry quickly and are exfoliating as well but still soft enough to feel nice. Dries fast so less dryer use. Wish I had been using these my entire life. Had no idea what I was missing! I am purchasing for kitchen too and will only buy Gilden Tree towels from now on.

I needed some bar towels for my espresso machine -- wiping down the machine, cleaning the wand, cleaning spills, that kind of thing. For my purposes, these work great. They're a good size. The dish towels we had been using previously were just too big and bulky. Too cumbersome. These are much smaller and lighter; very easy to use for our needs.I will say that they shrink a little after washing. I think that's common with cotton waffle-weave towels in general, but do be aware of that. I think we lost maybe ½ an inch from each dimension after washing, even in cold water. They're still fine for us, though.
