Finding Dory Cinestory

My 6 year old granddaughter loves these books. She sits down and reads from front to back and then 1 or 2 more times. I have seen reviews complaining about the paper and ink. Get real. They are screen shots of movies - like comic books. They haven't torn or fallen apart and her hands didn't get ink on them. I know after she has read it, the 11 year old grandson also likes to zip through them. It stays pretty true to the movie. I can't decide if she likes it better because she has seen the movie first or wants to see it after. If they read it, does it matter? If they read these 300 page books 3 times, even better. The first time she read it, she was so delighted. It was the biggest (most pages) book she had ever read. She couldn't wait to tell her teacher. Some pages may only have a few words but it's still a thick book. What a rush for a young reader - to feel so successful !

The picture quality in this book was not as good as the others. Good story but slightly disappointed in the image quality. A lot of the pictures were very dark. My friend's daughter still loved it as a gift. I have bought her quite the collection of these types of books.

My son loves these Cinestory comics. He likes to read them as he follows along with the movie. Great purchase experience.

Terrible visuals. Like the Finding Nemo cinestory, this is a super-disappointing book. It's just a series of screen captures from the movie, with word balloons added for dialogue. Printed on cheap paper, the images are faded and hard to see. For a story as visually stunning as Finding Dory, having horrible visuals just doesn't cut it. The same company's original Dory comic books are excellent, making the poor quality of this book even more of a surprise. I'm shocked that Pixar allowed this product to see the light of day.
