No new drivers released in the last couple years.
I bought mine from a "Big Box Store" a couple years ago. Just wanted something portable, that I could watch movies, play some older games on. It works fine for that (just don't expect to play anything modern, or really graphics intensive on it, since it's using an older Intel graphics chip). The touch screen works fine, and haven't had any problems with flipping the screen around to the back, to turn it into a tablet. The newest divers for this are all dated back in 2015 and 2016. Acer has pretty much dropped all driver support for this model, and now I'm getting a "video scheduler" blue screen error, that looks like it'll never be fixed. Worst part is, the Intel Driver Assistant program (that comes with the laptop), keeps "taunting" me, saying there's a new video driver out (that'd likely fix my problem) ...but when I download it and try to install it, it says I need one that was specifically designed for THIS laptop and refers me to Acer's website, where of course, there's no new Video Driver since like May 2017...In 2019, I really feel you should just save up a little bit more, and get a WAY better laptop that it's parent company actually still supports. Apparently they made these in 2015, and places are still selling them to people that think they're "new" when they're not.So, Caveat Emptor.

Does the job and the price is right.
It seems reliable and does the job I need it to do (conference room desktop connected to a larger monitor). I haven't made much use of the tablet mode yet but expect that it will be useful in meetings when I prefer not to have a computer between me and others. The type on the screen is very tiny at the recommended aspect resolution. The touch pad feels a bit tinny. I normally use a mouse.

Stay Away
I worked with the laptop for several weeks thinking it was an issue that was solvable. Contacted the Acer support online and after 3 attempts to resolve with Acer, it was determined that I had a faulty malfunctioning hard drive. It took a month for the laptop to get back to me. 2 months gone after my laptop was purchased. Now, the wifi is absolutely terrible and after trying to fix it again with acer support (twice), and then returning it to Acer, nothing was accomplished. After more than 3 months of a faulty laptop, I still get just 1mb download speed sitting next to my router. This works the same at multiple places. No wireless room works better than 1b.If I were you, stay away.

Received a defective product
Every time this laptop goes to "sleep", the screen turns white and grainy and must be manually restarted using the power button. I tried everything, even a factory reset, but nothing seems to work.

2 Year Update - Gray screen/Sleep mode FIX
My first acer product, definitely not the last. I knew acer was a smaller brand and usually cost a bit less than the other brands but I am pleasantly surprised at how well this laptop held up. The battery life definitely started to be over 7+ hours for me when I first bought it. And now it’s at least 5-6 hours with normal use and 30%-50% brightness. Not bad for two years.SpeedThe speed of the ssd is nice and the processor is pretty good for a laptop. Did kinda wish I got the i7. Sometimes fb lags when videos auto play and my newsfeed updates.Troubleshooting and issues ***READ ME***Here is the most important part of my review. I must mention I did have an annoying serious issue that I finally solved today. Whenever this laptop went to sleep and then woke up, the screen turned fuzzy and gray. I ignored this for the past 2 years and manually reset it with the power button each time. BUT today I finally googled it and low and behold it’s a very common problem after a certain windows update. The fix? Update your BIOS on the acer website. Apparently there’s been a fix for over a year already!!! And after installing the new bios wow. Waking up from sleep is instant. The way it should be. I’ll be keeping this laptop for awhile. Definitely an awesome laptop now

Good purchase
This was a good buy. The covertable screen is a cool touch and the processing is super quick. I would have preferred the keyboard to have a backlight so it is easier to work with in the dark, and the battery does seem to run out pretty quick in comparison to other laptops I have used. Complaints aside, they is a nice laptop for the price and offers great functionality.

It's a very nice high quality laptop
It's a very nice high quality laptop. It's a bit touchy though. Typing on it is somewhat difficult as it has a tendency to duplicate letters. (I have over 30 years experience typing/keying on several different computer systems.)
