I bought the black one which were cheaper and they are of very good quality, they also cut the wood wick very nicely and easily. They reach deep in my jar - I would actually like to have another pair for the cottage. I highly recommend. Good product, good quality and good price.

This tool arrived quickly and the quality was surprisingly better than I expected. I’ve only used them once so far, but I look forward to years of use from this product. The price point was actually exceptional relative to others I compared to on Amazon. Fingers crossed that the longevity will be better than expected too. The design and function is exactly as described.This pair of trimmers should work well for those with small up to large fingers. I wear a large size golf glove and have a little larger than average sized hands, so take that for what it’s worth.I’m very pleased with my purchase and immediately noticed that they will make great gifts, especially for those friends and family that are hard to shop for, and those you want to make sure they will actually use and appreciate. If the person has candles in their house, get them a pair. I’ve used mine once today as soon as they arrived and immediately purchased another set as a gift!

I am surprised at how well made this tool really is, the cutter blades are thick and ground at an angle that will hold a sharp edge without the need for frequent sharpening. The cutter blades also form a cup that catches the drop so it doesn't fall into the wax. The finish is highly polished which makes cleaning soot and wax easy as a quick wipe with a paper towel. This is a great heavy-duty tool that will last forever and I highly recommend it. If you burn a lot of candles, you might consider purchasing more than one, the surprisingly low price makes it possible to have a cutter next to every candle you have.

This trimmer is well made and probably useful for wide jar candles. But, for the large Yankee Candles the angle is too great to cut the wick properly.( it does not fit into the jar properly) If you have the large yankee candles, but their wick trimmers.

This wick trimmer does not go down into the large 22 oz. or larger candle jars as another reviewer mentioned too. It causes you to cut your candle wick sideways instead of a straight clean cut. However, it is made out of some high quality steel. I will be returning this item, because I love large jar candles.
