This is a replacement for an identical model that began having display issues after 27 months. We keep this on our living room mantle; solely to know the time and love that is you can manually dim the display or it can also be set to auto-dim. It has a battery back-up in case of power loss and a number of other features that we haven't used.It looks great, is discreet, and works well; a great little clock for the price!

I had a tough time setting the time and accidentally set an alarm instead. The Instructions are brief and do not tell you how to turn off alarm settings. I noticed the back up battery was dead when I finally unplugged it to start over and none of the settings were saved. So after finally getting it set up I lost power shortly and now I have to go thru the nightmare of setting it again. I don't know what I would do if i lost the paper that gives instructions. Most other clocks have buttons that are self explanatory but this wants to do everything with one mode button. Also you need a really tiny screw driver to get to the back up battery so I'm hoping I don't lose power again till I get that. Other than that it looks nice.Updated: still looks great and costumer service sent me another clock for the battery issue.

Works great in bedroom. Easy to dim light. Easy to read. Size is as described.

Also easy to use with auto dimming and usb ports. Winner.

Pros: Looks nice. Mirrored surface and gold trim is sleek.Cons: Lightweight plastic construction means the clock moves around easily. I almost want to glue it to my end table so it doesn't get knocked over so easily. Seems like it would scratch easily. Feels overpriced. Also, the "PM" symbol looks a lot like AM". The instructions also don't tell you that the bottom button is for turning the alarm on/off and the middle button is for changing the brightness. Not hard to figure out, but would have been nice if that was in documentation.

I thought this clock was great at first. Looks sleek. I like the USB plug ins that allow me to charge my earbuds and smart watch. However, after a year + of owning this, it suddenly just stopped working. It sits on my nightstand next to my bed and is hardly even touched. Not sure why it just gave out all of a sudden. Very disappointed. Now I'll be in the market for a new clock and it's only been 1+ years. Do not buy if you're looking for something that will last. This wont!

I ordered this because I manage a team that has a team member in a different time-zone, two hours off.This allows me to see at a glance what time it is for her. There are also two USB ports on the side so I've been using those to charge items like my Fitbit or illuminate my color changing sign.It does also have an alarm clock, though I don't use that function. I did test it out upon receiving it just to make sure it worked and it works just fine. There is also a backup battery (a small watch battery) that will allow the clock to keep the time if the power goes out, once it comes back on the time should still be accurate. I haven't had a need for that yet, but I can't see why that wouldn't work.Another feature I enjoy is that I can use military time. I learned that in high school in JROTC and it just stuck, personally I think it's easier than dealing with AM/PM. But to each their own - I just really appreciated I could set it to either option!

My daughter loves this little clock. The size is perfect for small spaces. It looks cool at night and you can adjust the light. Easy to set up and use.

First day of use and product looks like a value for money. Three modes of brightness are adequate. Product description says battery number cr2032 needed however product itself says cr2016 which is not a big issue as both cells are similar priced and can be easily purchased from a local watch dealer/repair shop. I have plugged it to an inverter power outlet point so i may not need the external battery. Will add more details and quality checks to my review after a few weeks of usage to help others planning to buy!Review addition after more than a year:The side buttons were not the best of quality and after mild usage they have completely pressed inwards. Very difficult now to set time etc when clock is disconnected from power.
