First impression: better quality than most sand toys.
We have a beach house and lots of grandkids. We've bought a million of this style shovel over the years, and these seem to be a step above in quality. The plastic blade seems stronger than others we've had, and the blade attachment to the handle is also more solid. Can't comment on durability yet, only had a couple weeks of use.

Great beach shovels! Heavy duty and pretty strong as my kids typically break shovels. These did great on our beach trips this summer.

Great Shovels
My 2 and 3 year old boys have loved these shovels. They are happy to be able to work along side Dad. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they are not as durable as I would like.
