Affordable and reliable
It blew my mid how much cheaper it is here than it is in the stores I got mine while it was on sale although I had to return it as my family bought a better one right after this one came in, but when I did use it, it worked so well and there were no problems with it

Marked improvement over the previous gen
Pretty good. I was skeptical at first, what with Microsoft's reputation. It was when I didn't hear anything from the fan that I grew worried, but the fact that heat was coming from the vent just showed the fan was that much quieter than the One S, which was already pretty quiet all things considered. The console is far smaller than one would expect. Worryingly small, with the One S being substantially bulkier. My only gripe with the aesthetics is that the vent is a different color to the console, which is a little odd, but probably serves a purpose. The controller has far more pronounced grippy texturing on the grips and a rougher feel to the rest of the plastic, which took some getting used to. Controller build quality is pretty good, and it has a dedicated screenshot button, which is handy for the rare moment I DO take screenshots. The hardware itself runs as smooth as butter. Despite being less powerful than the Series X the console clearly still packs a punch and despite being far smaller than the previous gen, still runs games far better. Now to see if the console will survive several years of constant use like my old one. Here's hoping.

Don't waist your time or $
Got this "refurbished" xbox series s. It was anything but refurbished. Pretty sure it was a pallet buy that got a quick wipe down excluding adhesive on the back and top of the console. And the just tossed in a controller "untested" and two cheap cords for the hdmi and power. The first things I noticed was the hdmi is loose and the adhesive on the box. This was not horrible but the controller would not even turn on. swapped out several batteries and yet the thing is totally bricked. can't even test if the console has flaws but my guess is yes. So my advice to you dear friends is pass on refurbished and get new. at least you get a warranty.

100% worth the Price.
Fun fact Microsoft actually loses money on each one of these they sell the way the turn a profit is the initiative to buy gamepass for most people.
