Casa Fiesta Guacamole Seasoning, 1-Ounce Packages (Pack of 24)

I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER WHO CAN'T GET ENOUGH GUACAMOLE. SHE HAS TRIED VARIETY OF MIXES AND LIKES THIS ALOT NEXT TO EMERIL'S. STAY FRESH PACKAGING. EASY TO OPEN. JUST NEED TO FIND A PLACE THAT CHARGES LESS THAN 1.00 EACH FOR AVACODO'S (BUDGET MINDED HERE) LOL.

***UPDATE JAN 2017***I noticed after I received my last order some time back, that the ingredients list on this product had changed, and it now lists maltodextrin. This means that the product can not be considered safely gluten free or corn free, as maltodextrin is sometimes derived from wheat and sometimes from corn, or it can also be derived from potato starch, rice starch or any other type of food starch. Unfortunately for me, this means that I'm stuck with quite of few of these packets, since they come in a box of 25 or so. I hope that the company will voluntarily start labeling their product in a more allergen-friendly manner, so that consumers can know the source of the maltodextrin. Better yet, take that ingredient out altogether; it's just a cheap filler and it was better without it!**********************This is the only brand of pre-made guacamole mix I've been able to find on the market that doesn't have any dairy in it, or corn or gluten. I think it's delicious. Some reviewer complained about the color of the guacamole but if you use 1/2 the recommended amount of mix and add extra lemon or lime juice, your guacamole will be appetizing besides delicious. I think that this mix is more authentic than most pre-made mixes have milk solids in them; I can't imagine that traditionally made guacamole has milk powder in it. This ingredient list is normal stuff that you can recognize such as tomatoes and peppers.

This ruined 3 avocados for us. It's overpowering with citrus and tomato flavor. There's plenty of WAY better seasonings for the same price out there. Don't buy this! Try McCormick or something similar to those ingredients. It has 100 times better flavor! I'm SO disappointed I wasted my avos on this.

This is not my favorite guacamole mix, but it is good and definitely worth the price. It seems a little chunky to me, as I like my seasonings to be well blended and barely noticeable. It does taste good, though.

Love this yummy guacamole seasoning best we’ve had

This has a lot of tomato powder in it I think because the paste you make with it is red, add that to your avocados and you get rusty colored dip = old looking guacamole, doesn't look very yummy.I used 3 large fruits as directed and it was very overwhelming, very salty and seasoned. I would use a fraction of a packet per 3 fruits in the future. Maybe put a few packets in a jar and add a half tsp to your quac and go from there.
