Foam Massage Ball for Deep Tissue Therapy and Self-Myofascial Release

This foot massage ball is an excellent complement to my self-massage arsenal, which includes tennis balls and lacrosse balls and spiky balls. What makes this ball different from all three other kinds is that it is about 2" in diameter and is faintly squishy, which is reasonably between the larger squishiness of a dead tennis ball and the no-budging of a lacrosse ball. And sometimes you just don't need the intensity of a spiky ball; I'm as much of a high intensity nut as they come, but sometimes self-care demands backing down a little and going for medium level. With its diameter, the massage ball aims for a diffuse action unlike the green FootEEZ balls that I also own (small and spiky and hard and very intense), which again, is supportive and meaningful, without assaulting the senses. The ball also comes in a nice little white soma system pouch which can accommodate far more balls than what is initially given, which makes for a nice place to stash several self-massage balls for a trip, when the occasion strikes. Happy to have this! Now off to use it some more...

This product was recommended by my yoga instructor. It was exactly what she suggested. She said it would be pricey, but we were both pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable price on Amazon.

My first impression of the massage ball was really good. Judging by the title, I though that the massage ball was only for feet. I was delighted when I looked inside the booklet that it came with, to find out that I could use it on several other body parts as well. The images in the booklet helped me figure out how to use the massage ball too. The little baggie or case it comes with is really nice too. I like how it has holes to the ball can air out just in case I use it after working out and it has some of my sweat on it. The size of the ball is nice. it fits in my palm pretty well and the material it is made out of feels good. I have used foam rollers at the gym before and I'm always wary of who used it before me and whether they are cleaned or not. I'm happy to have something I can use that is of my own. I've been using it on my feet while sitting and working at my desk. When you were high heels and walk around or stand all day this thing really helps. I teach for a living and so although I do get time to sit from time to time, I'm usually standing up and walking either lecturing and writing on the whiteboard or just going from student to student to see what individual help they need. After a long day of work in heels my foot and toes ache. Yes, after taking my heels off and resting they do feel better but it takes a lot of time. My feet feel really great after using the massage ball and it also helps me relax as well. The pain that I get using this ball is like a good pain. I'm unsure how to explain it but if you've ever received a massage from a professional I think you would understand the kind of pain I'm talking about. I have used it on my thighs as well and its is so easy to use. I literally don't spend any extra time on it. It is so easy you just need to place the ball where you have a knot or have a lot of tension and use your body weight to sort of rub it out. It really does feel refreshing and my neck and back especially feel much more relaxed then before. This is a great product. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

although it is a great myofascial release tool, it is a (at most) $7 ORANGE LACROSSE BALL!! and at least a $3 High Bounce Pinky. don't get duped for $30.

I love these and have ordered many sets to give as gifts because of the high quality of their products and their comprehensive understanding and availability of instructions for their customers I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The exercise ball arrived on time and was well packaged .it has a nice pouch to store it in and it is exceptional quality much more then l imaged.l love the feel of it as l didn't want a super hard one.l couldn't resist trying it out on the bottom of my feet.it was great.the 3 hour video to teach the proper way to use this therapy tool is excellent and l can't wait to get started.l would buy more of these products by this company as l progress in my exercise.
