Bought this item to make al pastor tacos at home. Item was received a little later than expected….but not a big deal. Seems good quality stainless steel and well built. Would definitely recommend to other BBQ’ers

What I love about this skewer is you are never stuck with a skewer that is too long with a huge amount of space left. With this skewer, if I need to add more meat than normal, I just place the longer 12 inch spike on the plate instead. If I'm not cooking a lot of meat, I can just have the 8 inch spike on the plate instead. Both spikes are not only sharp but I'm able to place which ever kind of meat I'm trying to make on them without having to fight with either the meat or spike. The plate is really stable and as long as I have it on a flat surface, it holds everything steady for me. I have now had this for about a month now and while it does get used quite a bit, both spikes and the plate still are holding up very nicely. There are times I have to scrub a little extra but that also depends on the seasonings and marinade I am using. Other than that, everything is still working out great.

Purchased these for the fire station, first off I was pleased with the packaging and care they put into ensuring it made it without any dings or damage. The unit itself is easy to assemble and swap out. The pointed tip is sharp enough to puncture through the meat easily and makes assembling the tower easy. Would definitely recommend, seems well made and sturdy when in use!

Bought to make my special pastor tacos on the grill and it works wonderfully. Have the choice to use the 8in or the 12in rod, depends how much your gonna make. Is sturdy once screwed in and very easy to clean once taken apart.

This is way more heavy duty than expected and will be able to handle large pieces of meat with no problem. I am very pleased with this purchase. Good bargain for stainless steel heavy duty skewers like this.
