US Premium Supertough Outdoor 12in x 18in Stick Flag - Made in Pennsylvania

A friend and I informally maintain the veteran's flags for a rather large cemetary. I normally purchase flags that cost less than this one, but I gave these a try. They hold up much better than the cotton flags. They keep the color month after month without fading. The "stick" masts are of the same quality as other flags from this company and sometimes they warp or bend, but I guess you have to expect that in a wooden stick mast. Now all I have to do is keep the cemetary employees from mowing the flags. I really expect everyone to respect our country's flag but I guess that's not going to happen.WAS GOING TO ORDER MORE TODAY, BUT FOUND THAT THE PRICE HAS DOUBLED FROM WHEN I LAST ORDERED.

I ordered this flag because a flag from another vendor came with a 24" stick. When I placed it on my Dad's grave part of the flag touched the ground which is NOT GOOD. This flag said it was mounted on a 30" stick and flag was secured to the stick. Unfortunately this one also had a 24" stick and the flag was not secured to the stick. It actually arrived at half mast inside the shipping envelope. These were all inconveniences that I can fix. The flags themselves were of adequate quality for the price.

They are as discribed but,,,,,,, ?? The materal has the feel of a quality flag, its doubled sided/ double stitched . My question is the way the flag is attached to the wood via a clip at the top of the flag . The wood pole/stick is of good quality. If you are looking for a flag for occational use and or limited outdoor exposure this is one to purchase- and for that use I would give it 5 stars,,,,,,,, I purchased these for veterans grave sites on Memorial Day 5/13,,,,,,, so I will not know how well they hold up to the eliments (weather) till after that holiday.

No sewing was done to these flags - no hems. They're just printed. I wonder what makes them supertough. With the price, I was expecting more. They are not securely attached to the too short sticks accompanying them which, if placed perpendicular, allows the flag to sink from the top to the ground.Plus, they arrived well past the expected delivery date. The company did call and say they had shipped them, and offered to return my money, though that never happened. I called them when they arrived.Would I order them again? No.

The length of the stick was described as being 30 inches. Instead, it's only 24 inches long. That's too short for an 18 x 12 flag to be displayed when the stick is in the ground. The flag itself will either touch the ground or come very close to doing so.In addition, it can slide quite easily up and down the stick. I understand that clips have been provided to keep this from happening. I never received them and I decided to use a little super glue at either end to attach the flag to the stick. That seems to work.So even though the quality of the flag itself appears to be pretty good, it fell considerably short of what I was expecting. Therefore, it only gets a two star rating.

I wanted to purchase good quality flags to place along both sides of my driveway on patriotic holidays, and I made a good choice in purchasing these flags, which were manufactured in the USA. The 30" sticks are extremely sturdy. I was surprised that the flags were not stapled to the sticks. Instead, the stick slips through a sleeve in the back of the flag and a plastic clip adheres the flag to the stick. I'm worried that the clips will not last in the hot Florida weather and if not, I will contact the seller for replacement clips. Maybe I'm putting the cart before the horse about the clips, but I am somewhat worried about them.

I was searching for a well-made strong flag that could adorn my father's grave 24/7, 365. This flag material is very strong and the band attaching the flag to the pole is strong too. It isn't just staples holding the flag to the pole. I believe these flags will last for some time in sometimes harsh weather conditions and won't have to be replaced constantly. (Although I haven't had the flag for more than a month, so I can't really say how long it will actually last). But, I am impressed with the quality. UPDATE 4 years later - the quality is amazing. I only have to replace this flag once a year!!!!

My last flag completely faded within two years. I bought this one because it was made in the U.S., for one, and was supposed to be "supertough," and it is. It was very affordable and was immediately shipped. I wish I could fly a larger flag, but this one fits nicely with the house and I can fly it every day since it is protected from the elements. The wood staff is solid and I don't see it breaking at all. I am guessing the flag and "stick" will last for years and years. Great packaging, too.
