Does it come pre-tuned? (At least close)

Mine came tuned and ready to play 🙂 I had been mentally practicing a song the week before I bought it and when it came in, I played and the notes where all tuned nice ☺️

Does it come with sheet music?

Yes, the seller will send you an email with a link to two PDF files. One Song Book and one Beginners Book. You will need to print them out if you want the actual sheet music.

Does this kalimba comes with a carrying case with a separate compartment for the tuning hammer of some sort?

My Kalimba did not come with any carrying case other than the velveteen pouch (cozy for it to rest but not safe to travel with it's tuning hammer).

not sure if the 17 and 21 key are the same size, but the 17 key is 5.5 inches wide at its widest point, 7 inches long, and about 3 inches thick (that's a combo of the body and the protruding keys)

Great gift for someone or a treat for yourself

Love this Kalimba! It’s light and looks good, the sound is clear and very melodic. Despite still learning how to play it it’s a lot of fun. The package includes a special hammer for tuning and a small book explaining the basics. It also has a set of stickers for visual definition of keys and two silicone patches for your thumbs - it was a well thought addition even though I don’t use either.
