I will update in the future if anything changes, but for now here is the review. The 5 pack is good, though I only needed 2. But that's fine cause that gives me 3 leftover in case they do eventually come off or I need another for something. They were easy to put on, just make sure you have a good light shining on the camera hole so you know exactly where to line it up. I did it for both my and my wife's laptops (both Acer Predator G9-592s) and got them aligned first try. I tested them out using skype video preview and the cover opens and closes smoothly and when closed it fully blocked the camera view. I'm not terribly paranoid anyway, but I have heard of a lot more laptop webcam hacking lately so I figured why not? On our laptops, they do not interfere with the closing at all. And they have stayed on well so far and I opened and closed them a couple dozen times to test out the lasting strength. Still on strong and working. Hopefully it'll stay good for long enough to be worth it, so for now I give it a five star review. If anything changes, it will be updated.Note: We only used two of them on Acer Predator G9-592 laptop webcams. I can not vouch for how well they'll work on other items.

I really wanted to like these camera covers, but they are useless for cell phones because the adhesive is not sufficient. These may be useful for a product that is sitting on a desk and will never be out into a bag or pocket.I tried this on two phones (both front and rear cameras) and none of the covers lasted even one full day. Prior to applying the covers I cleaned the screen with an alcohol based cleaner so that there would be no oil on the screen.

These work great. We placed them on our laptops and iPads. Note, if you're using an Otterbox Defender case with your iPad Air 2, you'll need to widen the opening for the front-facing camera. A $12 dremel I have worked fine for this. The magnets aren't remarkably strong, so if you bump your device around a lot, make a habit of checking to ensure the disk is still covering the slide. The disk doesn't move when I carry a device around though. Seems to only happen when the device has been in my backpack, which I tend to sling around all day.

I did quiet a research by going through the reviews of similar items. I felt it over priced. The only reason i thought to buy this was because they had mentioned that its not a usual china product but Swiss made i guess(my friends however didn't like it hearing the price) . I however wish they were a bit cheaper. i had a doubt initially(before getting them in hand) whether there would be a problem when i close my laptop.However its so sleek that i didnt had to worry about it. Its tiny than i imagined. So far its good.

So, to start, I really like this camera cover. I use it for the front facing camera on my phone. I purchased the metal, magnetic one. It looks pretty sleek and has been working great.The only issue is the back sticking to the phone screen (on top of my screen protector). I've had it for only a week and a half and it just came off today. I took a damp paper towel and wiped the back of the cover and cleaned my phone, then let it dry and was able to stick it back on. I pressed it on and held it there for several seconds. Going to try to avoid putting it in my pocket. So far, it's sticking. If it falls off again, I'll probably just get some super glue. Being that I have a screen protector, I won't have to worry about damaging my screen. But that would be a last resort.

Attractive, functional, I initially loved these covers. Installation required meticulous and careful placement (tweezers are recommended!), and once the installation was complete, they were firmly in place. Absolutely no light/picture was able to penetrate, and the covers met my expectations of both function and style. However, 1 of the 5 had arrived with the "sticky" portion folded over itself. The sellers were great, and immediately offered to send a replacement in the mail, which arrived quickly. I installed them on three phones and two tablets. The two on the tablets (with keyboard docks) are still working fine - they stay in place well and hardly ever need to move. However, closing the keyboard docks fully is no longer possible, and I am concerned about scratching the interior of the keyboard docks. The ones on the phones were disappointing. On two phones, the sticky stuff failed within a day. Those phones are constantly in/out of pockets, so the constant pressure must have overcome the stickiness. The other phone installation worked well for almost a full two weeks before cracking with a minor fall (it was propped up on a table and toppled over onto the screen, still on top of the table).I wanted to love these, but with the lack of function for the primary purpose (covering my phone's camera), I cannot give it a full recommendation at this time.

These webcam covers are awesome. I ended up using them on all of my devices, laptops and phones. Great build quality and design, so much so that I'm hoping that they ultimately make larger sizes for some of my slightly larger webcams. The covers are very low profile and their metal finish provides a very polished look. I'd highly recommend them.The slide action for the magnetic version works well. Enough resistance to prevent it from sliding on its on, but easy enough to slide manually when you want it to.Packaging was nice. I ended up using 4 of my 5. Had an issue with the adhesive on one, but the seller promptly offered to replace the defective one. Very happy with their support.

I bought the product described as "Black Metal Family 5 Pack." They're metal and have magnets to slide back and forth. They attach with 3M double-sided adhesive tape.This product is by far the best version of the privacy shield that I've seen. The plastic version ( Family Pack (3) 1.0 Black  ) is an upgrade from duct tape and the ProTech Privacy metal version is an upgrade from that.Sure, the tape may eventually wear out. But you can always buy more and replace it!My only gripe is that it's expensive but if you're willing to spend the money, I've not seen anything better.
