Nutra Sonic PE8013L Companion Travel Facial Cleansing System, Lavender

I've been hearing about the high end Clarisonic System for years, but did not want to drop $200 without knowing whether or not it would work for me. It's been 6 weeks since I started using the Nutra Sonic, and now I understand all the rave about these systems! First off, I have acne prone adult skin, and on top of that my skin is also highly sensitive--turning red and getting irritated very easily. I started off using this everyday on low, and in the first couple of weeks I noticed more acne cropping up, almost like the machine uncovered new bumps in the process of deep cleaning and exfoliating. However, I was so thrilled and amazed with how smooth and glowing it left my skin that I stuck with it. Now I utilize the machine only every other day, and the acne has abated. I am very thrilled with this machine, and while it has worked well for me, when it does break down I will totally invest in the expensive Clarisonic. These at home systems are a must have for all women in their beauty repertoire.

I bought this instead of the original Clairsonic Mia unit to save $50. For a few weeks I was thrilled; it worked great, made my skin feel good. Then it started to act up: it was dead when I went to use it, so I recharged overnight. It worked for a little while and then quit, even though the charging indicator stopped flashing. Then I ended up having to charge it overnight every time I planned to use it and even then it would barely stay on long enough to wash my face.I finally gave up and bought the real Mia and I love it. The brush is larger and softer and it vibrates much more than this impostor version. If you decide to buy the Nutra Sonic I hope you have a better experience than I did.

The one I received was supposed to be lavender, but I received a baby blue... It didn't hinder the use of the cleansing system, so I've been using it for a month! I love it... Having tried a Clarisonic, I was really contemplating ordering a Mia, but instead decided to give this a shot--- It did NOT disappoint! Having used a Clarisonic before this, I can tell you that the Nutra Sonic is as amazing as a Clarisonic, at only a fraction of the cost!

Cleans great, but only lasted a year and a half My unit will no longer charge and the warranty has expired. I had expected it to last longer than that. I have a name-brand toothbrush that I have been using for about five years and the rechargeable batteries still charge. Think I'll go ahead and replace this one with the brand name one. Probably be less expensive in the long run. Oh, and the first one of these I ordered had to be returned and replaced because it did not work when I received it.

Please do not waste your money on this product. Spend the extra money and buy the clarisonic. I wish I would have listened to the reviews, it would have saved me sixty bucks. This product worked great while it worked. I have only had the product a few weeks and it already quit working. After a week of use I noticed the battery was not holding a charge like it was. Then after four weeks of use the unit would not charge at all. The light would not even come on that indicates it's charging, and it was hot after taking it off the charger, which probably means it is a fire hazard as well.

very weak and not worth the money. however, i love my full size nutrasonic (pro or bella). it is superior to the clarisonic but this company does not have very good distribution. customer service for replacement can be an ordeal.

Got the item right away and after one night and still after a couple of weeks, my skin looks clearer, cleaner and the texture is so smooth!! I've always battled acne all my adult life and now the acne is reduced greatly. I do use the sensitive mode every evening with my glycolic cleanser. It's a miracle but then again, light exfoliation does make sense. I should have bought this when I heard about it years ago. I regret i didn't get one sooner. My cousin bought the brand clarisonic and this one is equal, absolutely! but a fraction of the cost.

Great product, but giving four stars because the plastic started to crack and some rust started to show through after only about 1.5 years of use.
