Great for suminagashi
I have not painted directly on this paper, only used it for suminagashi. It performed very well. It absorbed the ink very quickly (no sizing), was easy to manipulate when wet, and seemed quite strong when wet (no tears or disintegration like hosho paper!). It is not overly fibrous, so anyone needing smooth paper can use this. It is slightly cream colored and has two deckle edges. Mine came with very small bends in corners of the roll, but for my purpose that wasn't an issue. I love this paper.

Great quality
I’ve sourced mulberry paper from professional art stores for the last few years at much higher prices than this but this still sustains the same great quality. It’s the perfect sheerness, light and the color is a bright white. Looking forward to print making with this!

Count your pages and do you see lines before your eyes?
I was robbed by 1 page and I did not expect to find lines (not fibers) running through the paper. Be sure to count all of your pages. If you do not mind light lines similar to notebook lines running through the page then this is a nice product. You cant beat the sheet size and quality compared to others who charge way more. The texture is lovely and fibrous delicious. However I thought it was a bit transparent for journal pages. My concern is ink/paints will bleed through. Have not tested this theory yet. I suppose I should go file a complaint to the peeps who sell this as I would like to have the missing sheet. Just thought it wouldn't be worth the postage. Maybe if I order more they can include it then. Would be a way for them to save money right? Every thirty orders they have a free set to send. Just saying.

Mulberry Paper is the Best!
Mulberry paper is my very favorite kind of paper to do ink painting on. This is beautiful strong paper that will take a lot of moisture. I paint mostly landscapes and need a strong paper but also paper that is thin enough to be mounted into Asian scrolls. This paper fits my needs perfectly. Also, Blue Heron Arts is a great company to buy your Asian art supplies. The owner is fantastic. I purchase most of my supplies from BHA.

paper
used this for a rubbing of an old printing tablet. worked great. the paper has a good feel to it and it looks very authentic. be careful how much ink you use on it, because it is so thin ink bleeds easy.

Great paper
This paper is thin-ish yet strong. Great for collage or writing on. I am using it also for photo transfers. It also came very promptly with no problem. I will definitely order it again.

Perfect for underglaze transfers
I tested this paper for making underglaze transfers with other types of mulberry/rice/tissue paper as well as newsprint, and this stuff worked the best. By far! Will be getting more.

Low grade toilet paper
Pretty much garbage as far as I’m concerned. Watercolors? Colors bleed everywhere. Print making? Stuff falls apart. Won’t buy again.
