I wish I could give 4 1/2 stars, 4 seems harsh but 5 is too much. I gave this to my mother as a gift because she has wrist pain but still loves to grate and chop veggies, cheese, etc. This is great because it requires arm movement, not so much wrist movement, and it saves her a lot of hassle. Size is nice, not too deep or large so it fits well into the deli drawer in the fridge. Only complaint is that the lid can jiggle a bit, especially when grating something hard. Food piles up right under where you're grating but a good little shake and everything is nice and even again. Very convenient storage and easy to wash!

The grater was bought for Christmas presents - it looks just like the one I bought 15 years ago from a girl scout. I use for shredding cheese (all types). Mine does not have the slice option. I have R/A and can work this with ease.

Didn't survive first trip through dishwasher. This thing is really cheap junk. The green plastic cracked right away. The metal grater is thin and bends while grating. DO NOT BUY!

This grater is flimsy. Amazon had numerous graters to select from and I opted for a cheap one. I wish that I had selected another. The instructions on the packaging are in a language that I don't recognize.

Makes grating easier with the grate that fits atop the storage container. This will hold approx. 8 oz of grated cheese. One con is that the container lid which comes with it, does not fit snugly tight unless the grater is left on the container below the lid. The lid will still sit on top of the container. A plus is that the container is square. If you look at the grater it is divided in sections so grated food falls only into one half or so of the container below. Since the container is square, you can rotate the grater portion atop the container to evenly fill the the storage space. So far it works grate! (pun intended)

Purchased this as a gift for a sweet friend after she injured herself on a new box grater. I have one similar to this one, and it is safer than a box grater in my opinion. My friend also loves it!

A little lighter than the older ones. Works fine for now. Let's see how it lasts. Bought for my daughter so she wouldn't steal mine.

This is waiting for me to use. It's a great size and love the quality.
