When I am out shopping (a couple times a week) I like to treat myself to a "froo-froo" coffee type drink. For some time now, I have been feeling guilty about using plastic one-time use only straws. So I purchased these straws. I like that they are made in the US. They are break resistant and easy to pop into my purse. (I also bought a water-proof "straw-bag to put my straws into.) I like that they are easy to clean. and I mostly like that I can use them over and over again.One of my best purchases!

I’ve only had these straws for a week but I’m already in love. I enjoy them more than my metal straws because this glass doesn’t amplify the temperature of the drink to my lips like metal ones do. The metal does transport easy in my purse and that is the next thing I’ll try with the glass. They feel strong and sturdy so I’m not worried. I will probably buy shorter ones that will fit restaurant cups better first. I bought these specifically for our large, 30 oz. thermal, travel cup and the 12” straw fits them perfectly. They may never make it out of my cup to make it into my purse at this rate... These would make excellent gifts and party favors as well. Proudly support this made in the USA product!

These do not fit the lid of my 30 ounce Yeti rambler. They are still too wide. Only the hole is narrow, almost too narrow for water even. They are well built though. As soon as I got mine, I dropped one on a tile floor while unpacking them and caused no damage whatsoever. Just not right for me.

Often, especially when driving, I like using a straw for water, coffee, or whatever. I'm careful to use only BPA-free plastics, but prefer ceramic, glass, or stainless steel for my beverages, especially hots ones. One day it dawned on me that I was still using plastic - disposable straws, even in hot drinks. I started looking closer and found none noted BPA-free, AND they all seemed to be made in China. (And what other chemicals or harmful things could be leaching from plastics that are not yet common knowledge?)'Switched to glass straws, and I love them!........................ Also less plastic going into the trash, and maybe even hurting animals down the line. I won't post links, but you have likely seen ways that plastic, even straws, have injured animals. .......................They're easy to clean -- Rinsing the inside is usually all that seems to be needed, but many times I do use a bit of dish wash and the brush that came with the straws. The outside, I wash as I would any glass. Then use again, or let them air dry and put them away for later.After months of use, I've had no problem with them - no mold, ... One did get broken. Hummingbird Glass Straws readily replaced it, standing behind their guarantee.The only "problem" is that they are sometimes noisy as I walk, or drive, with them jingling in my glass or stainless steel water bottle. If this bothers you, you will like having them fit your Yeti (or whatever) top so that they don't move around much. (I use them in various containers, and they don't fit snug in some. I may come up with something to help that.)I will soon be buying more, this time for shorter glasses, and a set as a gift.I definitely recommend Hummingbird Glass Straws.(No, these were not offered at a discount. Beautiful, eco-friendly, & durable straws. Very happy with them and they fit perfectly in my Starbucks “grande” sized glasses. 4 Stars— I would have given them 5 Stars but initially I was sent the wrong straws & the customer service wasn’t great.Overall, I highly recommend these straws because they’re lovely & great for the environment. I think I read on their website that they are made in USA( but box wasn’t stamped “Made in USA“). Probably should double check, but anyway, they’re great!Perfect stocking stuffer for the straw addicts in your life!

I wanted to find a quality reusable straw that was made in the United States. I am beyond pleased with my choice. I got the 12" version because I like having an extra length, but I could have done well with the 10". My cup (pictured) is the rather large 34oz Cold-1 tumbler for comparison.Drinks taste better from glass, so I was really happy I could find a shatter-resistant glass one instead of settling on the stainless steel. I just put it in the laptop compartment of my bag to cushion it when I take it to and from work.I am definitely ordering more of these :)

So I read the reviews and still bought theses anyway. I have the clear venti Starbuck tumbler and they do not (even close) fit into them. BUT that tumbler did not come with stainless steal straws and other do so maybe they fit in those. The straws are great as regular straws. The cleaner brush is awesome.

I am very pleased with the straws. They fit perfectly into the top of my cold water tumbler. They arrived a day before they were supposed to and were well wrapped to prevent damage while shipping. They were exactly asdescribed. They are a little pricey but I would order them again.This is a second review. Both of my straws have broken even though I was careful with them. Glass straws are definitely not what I need. I'll be looking for stainless steel ones. Thus changing this from a 5 rating to a 1. I'm sorry they didn't work out.
