I love these tongs. I purchased these as I was trying a new recipe that called for frying "cakes" in a cast iron skillet and thought these would be easier to use than the cheap metal spatula style tongs I previously purchased. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and versatility of these. I use them to stir, to flip, and to sauté. I use them for pasta, casseroles and salads. A prior comment mentioned that they didn't know how they would hold up to heat, but I will tell you that I have now made chicken fried steak twice and these still hold up. There isn't even the burnt edge that most plastic turners inherit after much use. I decided to do this review because I am back to purchase a second pair. These would make a great gift too.

very versatile; easily converts from 'nesting' the sides together to save space in the drawer to opposing the sides for use as salad tongs, etc. nice surprise was the brilliant design to provide resistance, as if there was a spring, when using as tongs. great product

Excellent. Held my 8 oz salmon steak without breaking it. Great also for my delicate vegetables. I use to use tongs but on fish they would often break it in half. These are nice and sturdy. Feels solid in my hand. I am pleased with this item.

These have held up well to the dishwasher and frying eggs. The cupped shape keeps the egg from sliding off when you try to flip it.

Novel product that we use all the time.
