Love these jars. Sturdy, strong, air tight. Use them in the pantry for a variety of food items

I love this brand, and these jars. I was dense, however, and did not remove the wires before putting them in the dishwasher. They came out rough and tarnished, but I was able to mostly correct it with vinegar. While these may look like other jars, the glass is far superior. They are a good weight, and the short ones do not tip while empty when the lid is open. They are not easy to open; it is a solid close, insuring that the contents are well sealed. I am happy with this purchase and recommend.

Great quality, strong wiring so it seals properly, dishwashable and tolerates having near boiling liquids poured in provided you warm the jar. A classic that has been made the same way for eons because it works.

I’ve been purchasing glass storage jars and removing any plastic containers from my kitchen. Who wants harmful endocrine disrupters in their system? They vastly increase the odds of getting breast cancer etc. I also don’t want to contribute to creating additional plastic trash, which is polluting and harming the planet, humans and other sentient beings. I love these jars for storing my homemade, organic, Pico de Gallo or Hibiscus Tea! The positives: They’re a great size for batch cooking, ultra sturdy, airtight, plus BPA and lead-free. I’d accidentally dropped one in my sink and it stayed in one piece. The negatives: The jars aren’t great when pouring liquids. I have to pour over the sink and generally lose a bit of my homemade, organic goodness. I’ve purchased them a number of times in various sizes, and will continue to do so until finding a better option. They aren’t gorgeous to look at, however, they serve an important function.

These jars are amazing! They have a great seal on the lid (you have the option to add it or not). They're a nice weight (not too heavy but not light either). They're easy to open and close too. Great price for the amazing quality.
