Chasilo LED Motion Activated Sensor Battery Powered Night Light

This little light looks very nice in real life and emits a pleasing soft white glow. But I took off two stars because the product description is incorrect. I bought this to light up the bathroom for nighttime visits. So I needed a motion activated light that would stay on for 60 seconds. This one does NOT stay on for 60 seconds after the last movement detected, as it says in the product description. It only stays on for only 15 seconds. Maybe that amount of time is fine for your needs. But I based my decision to buy this off of an incorrect description. Please fix so that buyers know what they are getting.

Bought this to put inside the mailbox. I hate sticking my had into a dark mailbox (fear of spiders.) This light is nice because it only lights up when I open the door, so the batteries should last.

In a home you’re likely to always have at least one space that needs just an extra bit of light. That way in the middle of the night you’re not stubbing your toe or tripping over the dog. This space in our house was at the base of the stairs, we just needed a light that would temporarily turn on at night to light the way. The Chasilo wireless motion activated LED light is just what we needed. We do not need to wire in a light because this was a great solution.The light came in a very simple box and I was excited to see that it even came with a nice 3M adhesive tab to install it. If this was going in another place that had metal there is a built in magnet on the back as well. Three AA batteries installed and it was ready to go.Installation Tip: When using the 3M strip take the back cover off the light, place the 3M adhesive tab then adhere the back plate to the wall making sure that the hooks that attach the back to the main unit are facing up. My hubby gets up frequently at night due to health issues. And he is also notorious for forgetting to turn off the lights he turns on getting to the restroom. It wakes me up and then I have to get up and shut off the light. But I don't want him trying to maneuver in the dark because I'm afraid he'll fall or injure himself.So, this seemed like a great alternative. I wasn't sure how bulky this would be and didn't really want some big ol' thing on my wall. However, did is very streamline and does not protrude very much (just barely thicker than the door frame). It takes three AA batteries and comes with one of those two sided sticky pads.The 'eye' is interesting because it's multi-faceted which I guess makes it easier to see movement. I placed this just outside our bedroom door where two small hallways intersect. My hubby sleeps in a hospital bed and uses the call restroom. This light works perfectly for him. It 'sees' him coming toward the hall to the restroom and turns on and continues long enough for him to get to the restroom. And when he heads back, it 'sees' him from the other hallway and lights his way back to his bed. It stays on just long enough to be useful and - the best part for ME - goes off after about 30 seconds - so no light glaring for hours!I may need to get more of these because they are just so useful and provide just the amount of light needed.
