Warm, sweat-wicking, easy care.
I wear US size 8.5 - 9, Euro size 39 shoes. These socks fit me well.I wore these on heavy rotation during a 3 week cold-weather vacation. I've worn and washed each pair at least five times. They're still in great shape. They kept my feet warm in moderately cold weather (3-8°C). Even when my feet were sweating, they didn't get cold. When I peeled the sweaty wet socks off at the end of long walking days, they didn't even smell! And I mean, I sniffed them up close. Wool is amazing.I threw these in washers and dryers (mostly in cold water) and they're still in good shape.

Not convinced they are real Merino wool
When these arrived, I was first disappointed in the fact that they were MUCH lighter than what is pictured. Additionally, these looked like they were a cotton-type sock. I'm not able to discern types of fabric, but they feel nothing like the brand of Merino socks (the grey/black ones) that I purchased for my husband. I have a few Merino wool items and know what it feels like and these do not feel like Merino wool. Additionally, with some abuse of the washing and drying on low heat (I know...don't do this to Merino wool), the socks have starting pilling. They haven't shrunk, so that's good. However, I can clearly see the difference in pilling on these socks compared to the black Merino ones. in the black ones, you can even see the wool fibers sticking out. Not in these. These are pilling just like cotton or cotton blend sock. Additionally, there is zero dye on the inside of the sock...so did they just lightly dip the outside? I will not be purchasing these again and recommend looking elsewhere for real Merino wool socks.

Dye colors bleed in wash.
These are cute, well made, comfortable wool socks. My feet don't sweat or get cold in these socks. I love the colors, but beware the dye bleeds onto light clothing they may be washed with. This still happens despite the socks being washed repeatedly. The dye does come out of affected clothing with a repeat washing. I wash with dark clothing in cold water and have had no more trouble. I would have given 5 stars except for this issue. I will buy them again.

I need more of these socks
I bought these in khaki stripe. They are cute -- look exactly as pictured. They were cozy out of the package and after washing several times, they look a little shrunken but stretch right back out upon wearing. I've had no trouble with holes or unraveling as some reviewers have. They're also very warm, which was of particular import to me. I have Raynaud's and have trouble in winter months, but these are my best socks. They are more comfortable than other, thicker wool socks that I have, and they are just as warm. They are definitely warmer than any other socks or slippers that I own. I plan to buy more, in other colors.

affordable yet not worth it
No defects when it arrived.Post review after using it: I’m editing my rating from 5 to 1 simply because after wearing one pair for hiking at Yellowstone national park last weekend, these pair started to stretch and it became loose and did not hold its form. It is not warm enough for temperatures below 40 degrees. For those looking for reliable hiking socks, Ascend Merino wool socks from Cabela’s is my best bet.

Really nice socks!
These are really nice socks. However, I would not consider them trail socks. The material is super soft and therefore slides around in my shoes and hiking boots. Someone mentioned that these socks were a lot like Thorlos, and I would agree; padded in the toe, heel, and bottom of foot, less on the top of foot. The length was perfect and they are not too tight, not too loose. They are practically seamless and very comfortable. The colors and patterns are cute. Honestly, my only complaint is that they are too soft. (Haha, I know.) I just don't like them sliding in my shoes.

Beautiful!
These socks are buttery soft, and just the perfect thickness. They are very well made. They are shaped so they fit perfectly to your feet. I got the variety pack and all the ombre-type patterns are so beautiful, even when just your feet are showing with long pants. These are truly calf socks, not to be folded over as ankle socks. But I wear them as ankle socks. When the socks fold over, they are whitish on the inside that is exposed. It would be nice if the patterns were inside-out, so the patterns could show on the outside when folded. But I have never found a inside-out sock in my life. So it's not a real complaint.

These socks don't last!
These were great until they weren't. l've only had them for 7 months, and I only wear them to bed. So very light foot traffic. Every single pair is developing huge holes. I'm so disappointed in these. The blue striped pair also pills along the contour of your foot. It's the only pair that does this.

Thinner than Anticipated
I chose these socks because of the ribbing at the top. They don't slouch down, which is what I wanted but they are quite thin. I'm not sure they will have any real lasting power. In the past I have purchased several packages of four merino wool socks from Costco, two of which have the ribbing and two of which don't. The Costco socks are much thicker. Being half the price, I think I'm just as far ahead going back to Costco for my merino wool socks.

Soft and keeps feet dry and warm
Super soft feel! A little tight on the calves but ok. I normally sweat from the feet a lot and these socks really help to feel dry and warm inside. I like that there's 4 pairs that comes in the box. Real good product, I recommend without hesitation!

for small ankle.
Good quality but I was born with a big frame and these are very thight above my ankle. They fit nicely on my feet and I wear 9.5 ww, (big bone for real), so the stretch is good, but they leave a serious mark above the ankle , to the point where it is uncomfortable.

Perfect thickness
I always wear socks with merino wool. These are less expensive than many others I have purchased before. They are just as good, if not better. Good value. I’ve read negative reviews that they don’t last long, but I’ve washed them several times and they come out like new condition. Even the more expensive ones end up pilling. It’s just the nature of wool. But these keep my feet nice and warm without being too hot, and thickness is thin enough to even wear in spring and fall shoes.

Great quality, poor sizing
Been hunting for quality wook socks for a while. These have the cushioning and arch support I love. However, they are large in the foot (I take an 8 1/2 shoe) so they bunch up around the toes. That is super uncomfortable. These are rated for sizes 4-10 1/2, but clearly that is wrong. Also the legband is way too tight for comfort (and I don't have heavy legs). They are also too long for my liking. I'm disappointed.
