Good for a year... [2nd purchase update]
I bought this a year ago and it has been great up until the last few weeks when the friction holding up the microphone has given out and there seems no way to do maintenance or tighten it up.[2nd purchase update] After it broke (see above review), I downgraded it to 3 stars......but I've tried a half-dozen comparably priced alternatives since then; and they were all worse in terms of comfort, quality, durability, accessories, and "line noise" (not the quality of the connection, but how the wire would transmit noise scraping against one's clothing). Having tried many of the competitors, I've purchased this one again as the best balance of features-quality-price I've been able to find... and upgrading it to 4 stars. If the durability holds up this time, I will upgrade it again in the future.
