Zebra Coated Copper Wire Purple 18 Gauge 10 Yards

Seller experience was great. I gave 4 stars due to the product itself. It is the best brand of colored wire, but I make chain maille jewelry which requires the winding, cutting, and opening and re-closing of hundreds of jump rings made of this stuff. I noted that the coating did come off if handled too much. If the jump rings went into the weave without fiddling, then it was fine. But if I needed to go back and fix something, I'd have to replace the jump ring entirely because the purple would become marked or chipped. After the bracelet was finished, the color plating appeared fine with handling and didn't dissolve or peel when I soaked it in salt and vinegar to clean the pure copper wire I had also used. I still prefer using solid copper and brass or superior silver plating, but occasionally a client requests color, so this brand is all I'll use.
