A Modern Man: The Best of George Carlin

George Carlin is Hysterical. I really enjoyed this book. The print is a little small, but I laughed a lot at the content.

This makes a great, stocking stuffer!

nice summary of his anecdotes, one-liners and opinions on everything; brings tears of laughter to my eyes.

George Carlin is a genius and a modern day prophet.

He may funny to others, but to me. I left the book on the plane.

I'm a big George Carlin fan. Have all of his DVDS so now working on collecting all of his books. Sad that we'll never see or hear from Mr. Carlin again and so much of what he said has come true. He truly was a man before his time.

Great delivery and read this book, if you feel like you are outside the hell that’s going on around you! He is observing our lives and laughing at our attempts to conquer the reality that is keeping us divided and down. But! Hysterically!

Having read this book expecting to be amused and entertained it became clear that basic human respect has been replaced by subjecting any individual who the author finds fault with to criticism ridicule and humiliation for his own perverse enjoyment. The benefit of education is significant (it certainly taught me a lesson) so I will put it down to experience and ensure I research the quality of ( American humour? ) any publication praised by promoters.
