SuperMoss (29348) Kokedama Planter, 6", Fresh Green

This is such a great medium for orchids! The roots of my favorite Phalaenopsis started growing through this kokodama container in about six months and now is incredibly healthy and vigorous. This container mimics the natural environment for my Phalaenopsis, if it were to be grown naturally outside in nature.

I will not lie...I hesitated before purchasing two of these because I was worried about size and quality. I decided to buy them and they are amazingly sturdy, beautifully made, and worth every dime!

This planter is very sturdy. The chain is sturdy too and is a good length. It looks so cool hanging in front of my house. However, I don't have a green thumb so I've had trouble keeping the plant alive that I planted in it. If you're good with plants then you might have more success than me. But if you want a show stopping piece for your house this is a good choice!!

I planted a spider plant and it looks amazing. So unique.

I love the way this looks. I planted a monstera adansonii in mine because they like to be well drained and don't mind being dry. I also plan to wrap the vine around it to let it root into the ball itself. The only note I wanna make about this thing is that it does shed a bit with movement and will drip water.I solve this problem by having a terracotta plate I set it on on watering day. I water in the morning, let it sit on the plate and when I get home from work it's dry enough to hang back in my window. I also mist the outside of the planter once in a while.

After planting and soaking the ball for moisture hung it and it leaked all over the floor, not much for hanging if its going to leak on you. I am not using it anymore since it was for hanging and not much use if it leaks.
