As I got older, my original first lobe piercing seems to getting droopier, I had stopped wearing heavy earrings years ago but the piercing seemed to be enlarging with wearing stud ball earrings. I was in search of a very thin, light weight hoop which would just sit in the piercing, not weigh it down, and not be too thick as to enlarge the piercing. These are perfect. Just put them in this morning. The are VERY thin (what I personally needed) and as some reviewers said, a little difficult to close. The 12MM was perfect for my first piercing, I also bought the 10MM for my second lobe piercings but they are really too small - I am going to return for another pair of 12MM - I think they will OK for my second and/or third piercings. I will update if there is an issue as to the durability, if they stay closed while sleeping, etc... I gave them 4 stars because I do think they were pricey but still worth it for me.

It was great at first until I noticed the clasp was the heaviest part of the earring. Looks great and a great deal for the money. Until the clasp drops down making it look a bit silly.

I like the size. They fasten easily, but come unfastened. They are super bendy which I don't like as they tend to lose their shape when trying to fasten them.

These look much more substantial in the photo. In reality, they are as substantial as a twist tie on a loaf of bread.

Super thin, almost bent a hoop trying to get it out of my hair... but when I bought the 24 gauge, I was hoping to use them for a beading project. Alas, the seed beads wouldn’t fit on the wire. However, they’re perfect for everyday wear and they’re small enough that I don’t have to take them out just to sleep on my side!

I like them but these are earrings for a ponytail or short hair. The clasp isn't super secure and if you have long hair you will risk them getting snagged and coming undone. I don't change earrings every day and wanted something I could leave in. I don't totally trust these to do that.

I am not sure I'll use these. They are so difficult to put in and fasten in my ears, I have put them aside. They are so lightweight, putting them on requires twisting and they became misshapen.
