I was really excited to get this set at such an affordable price for so many tools. The truth is you get what you pay for. For starters the Boston Shaker set only works with the metal cup it came with. I was expecting to be a normal size that could hold a pint glass inside of the larger shaker, but it does not. I was also expecting a full size bar spoon, but received one about half the size of a normal bar spoon. The strainer works fine and so does the wine opener. The oddest part of the set are the jiggers - the larger jigger measures 2/3 and 1 1/3 ounces. When will I ever use that? The smaller is a 1/2 - 1 ounce size which makes more sense, but a 1 - 2 ounce jigger and a 3/4 - 1 1/2 jigger would make much more sense and not be any more expensive to develop. Although this set is a good start, I would recommend getting tools that will actually do the job rather than just look pretty.

Great set. I once had a great set but it was lost to time and since have acquired and used a lot of inferior products. This set is great. Good quality with everything you need and then some. Even comes with a document containing drink recipes to put it to proper use. I only marked down on cleaning because while it's dishwasher safe, and I tested this, my snobbery insists I only hand wash. I think handwashing is the only way to care for a good cocktail set. Though I bought this for myself it would be a great gift as the foundation of a good home bar.

Overall the kit is fantastic, and for a product that comes at such a decent price, it's hard to find a very big fault let alone small ones.My only 2 negative comments regarding the kits are the strainer is not a fine strainer, and that was to be expected but it would be nice to possibly see an inclusion of that, and that shaker cups didn't fit any of my glasses which I found odd, so labeling shaker measurements on the ad page would be perfect for new buyers. The company Bar Brat is a very professional company to work with and will pursue you're review of the product and the deservery a good one.

I really enjoy this bar set. I've only used it about 10 times, but it seems to be pretty high quality. That being said, this is the only bar set that I've owned, so I don't have anything to compare it to.Overall, this bar set works really well for an home bar tending set. I'm just using this for parties, not my job.Update: It's been a few weeks now, and I really love this set. I started paying attention to what full time bar tenders use, and as far as I can tell, this set is very similar. I've made many cocktails for parties, and they've all turned out pretty well.This has been one of my better investments.

A fun, neat looking set that will inspire your drinks, get away from that blender and start squishing and straining your fruits with your vodka.Mixers are fun. Neat how it expands with ice to lock the 2 cups togeather for shaking, after your 1st few drinks you'll prefere the 2 cups to stuff with a lid.Fancy spoon and fruit squisher thing.. and all the ladies try to steal the fruit squisher and claim it as a sex toy. I will buy this again.

I got this set as a gift for my son’s 21st birthday. He was very surprised, and pleased. To go from no you can’t have a sip to here let’s make cocktails!!!! It is so much fun to still at 21 have a few minutes together over the weekend to mix a few drinks using the wonderful cocktail set from Bar Brat! They will send you a recipe ebook with exotic and interesting drinks.The set is very high quality and looks sophisticated. It includes everything you need as a started in mixology.Makes a wonderful gift!

This kit gives you everything you need to get started. I just got it recently and have been using it everyday since its come in. The materials are as durable as other reviews mention and the set itself is relatively easy to store as it doesn't take up much space. The e-book is a good addition to the set and gives you a starting pad of recipes. If you're into physical books, I would check out the books Amazon recommends purchasing alongside the Bar Brat set. Overall the set has been wonderful to use and I can't wait to continue working on my mixing skills.

Lovely little kit with all the essentials you need. I haven't tried the spouts yet or the recipe book. Shakers don't leak and I've had some lovely cocktails. I only question the need for a bottle opener and corkscrew as most people tend to have these already at home. Happy with the product and would definitely recommend.
