This was so easy to use. Immediately my kid started using it and would not put it down. It's such a fun and exciting way for them to learn to read and the mind/body cinnection was so great for her; her reading improved significantly in just a couple of days.

Fun for kids and at the same time learning

I picked this one out of many options because I loved the way that it was presented. I loved the wood, the colors, the flashcards. Each one had differences but this one just looked extra special. I want to slowly get my son familiar with the words so I love that at first he can see the letters and then later you can use the second set of cards and tear off the words. Perfect! So far he has had fun with it though it doesn't hold his interest for long because he is in a car stage. Even just a few minutes a day is fine with me to start with. And it is made so well. I love the wooden look and how they are based around the differently colored vowels. It is such a great price. And really, if it helps him learn to read, it is invaluable.

Functionally, this is a pretty great tool to help kids learn but I’m surprised they have the word “hag” included when it’s a derogatory term. I know it’s not the worst word to teach kids but why even include it? There are plenty of three word options without this one, I don’t need to teach my kiddo a derogatory insult. Edit to add: customer service reached out to me and I’m happy with their resolution.

Would be great if you could lock in the wood so it wouldn’t slip out, same with the card. Good idea, not good execution.

Purchased for my nephew & found how much interest he is showing in this educational toy. It is very good for learning words along with their pictures. Flash cards & rotary puzzle makes kids learn as well make them keep engage. Quality is good & sturdy. Easy to use as one just need to spin letters instead of switching. Worth purchasing.
