Intensive Parenting: Surviving the Emotional Journey through the NICU

This has been a very helpful book in helping my husband and I dealing with having a child with a long stay in the NICU (6 months). The quotes from parents are more from parents who had preemies so if you had a preemie, this would be a better book for you. We have a child who was full term but born with some severe medical problems and many of our experiences do not relate to many of the quotes from the parents in the book. However, the text written by the authors is excellent and very helpful and easy to understand and that is the main reason I like this book and what I can relate to the best. I highly recommend it as it covers a wide array of topics you'll encounter in the NICU.
