Extremely Good
OK it’s not easy to get a five star rating out of me, but it has been done and this is one of the products. This is not your average glue stick… This is a much stronger bond glue it’s perfect, because it glides on super easy, and yet it’s a glue stick meaning the glue is a smooth paste, and the best part is it sticks extremely well! I would say that it has the same bonding power as tacky glue, except without the wetness that usually wrinkles my paper… This is perfect for paper because it does not wrinkle paper, and yet you get a very strong bond. I’d say that it’s forgiving in the first few seconds, but then it does it here when I found out that I made a mistake a couple minutes later, I tried ripping the paper off thinking that oh, it’s a glue stick, so it should come off easily… Nope, it stuck on there very well, and it was difficult to take off the paper, to my pleasant surprise. I ended up having the paper stuck permanently onto the cardboard that I was gluing it on and it would not come off and it still hasn’t… So I am very pleased with how it adhered because that’s my number one complaints with glue sticks, is that the glue is weak, this one, however, is amazing and I’m gonna be ordering more!

No sticky mess
The backing on the tags are done with Elmers extra strength glue sticks, brilliant stick I’ve been converted with stick glues I thought that they were worthless and not long lasting but have been proven wrong. So I’m pleased that I’ve brought some I will still use wet glue but not with all of my projects

WRITING LEGIT REVIEWS ON THE PRODUCTS I USE
I cant say i know too much about standard adhesive glue sticks. So, upon buying. I just needed a small pack as i am assuming it will go a long way, been using the completely wrong type of glue for certain things when all i needed was some cheap craft.I am in the sneaker business for roughly 20 years. Regular glue sticks. Don’t pertain to the everyday life in my business.Between Buying, selling, collecting, one thing is for sure. I keep all my sneaker boxes and in the most pristine condition possible. This includes the labels that come on the box as well.Mainly Collectors (which it seems more and more are popping up everyday), do not like to get their sneaker boxes in poor condition. Obviously this pertains true to both buyers and sellers as well. Even though it’s just the box. There is a serious decrease in value, when a box is messed up.Outlets such as Nike & Adidas, since they do not want resellers going in and buying up every pair of the “HYPED ITEMS” as they want all consumers to get a pair at the under retail price instead of one or 2 people getting them all and making double. The outlets rip the lids off the boxes so as to not be able to sell on certain apps. When they can though on goat or eBay. They will atleast take a price hit. Sorry for that long back story. But this is where my review comes in and why I’m going to tell you why this glue works for what i use it for and how it holds well.I receive plenty of pairs that i buy online without lids. Which is fine but I’m able to find brand new boxes all the time, whether it’s to a person i buy from online, or sell to in person & maybe that buyer doesn’t need the box, i always ask if i can keep the box.At this point. Any pair that i have listed, once it sells & the box is damaged. (HAPPENS A LOT CONSIDERING I HAVE 1,000+ PAIRS, THEY ALL NEED TO STACK AND THE OLDER ONES CRUSH).So, i heat up the label both on the brand new boxes and take the label off that box with a heat gun which takes off a lot of the glue behind the label. Then, i take it off the same way with the damaged box and have had no issue a lot of the times sticking it right onto the new box but the corners a ton of times, they really don’t stick perfectly. Truth is, even if i sell on an app. The buyer doesn’t know who i am, but i really care about the seller because i hate when i get a box in bad shape and i don’t want that to happen to my buyer. Just unfair. So, this glue. Which i have been using only for a week. For sticky paper like labels to stick to cardboard boxes (some boxes are different materials but 99% are cardboard). Not one issue. Yet, in the past. I never used glue sticks. Just because i didn’t have them in my house.I have cement glue for restorations which keep MidSoles and tops and outsoles of sneakers together. Supporting hundreds of pounds of a person wearing them and for years at a time but will not allow a piece of paper and cardboard to stay together? Seems like it makes no sense. Same thing with crazy glue. Never ever works. But, THESE GLUE STICKS. come out clear. They work perfectly. So if you’re having an issue with it. Let me tell you one thing. Please look into using a different type of glue. Not a different type of glue stick. But there are many different types of ways to glue things. Glue guns - great for patches. For fabric to fabric, plastic to fabric.Cement glue - great for rubber and restorations. Among a million other things. Can use that for even tiling a bathroom.(By the way. If you do sneaker restoration. Use barge cement glue). Best by far.Crazy glue. I use gorilla glue for plenty of things. But, this glue stick for a quick fix on a light item. Paper to plastic. Paper to paper. To cardboard and so on. (Pretty much think of when you were younger. When you had to buy glue as a kid in elementary school, it’s for that kind of things and this item seems like a great one. Again, i haven’t tried many. But it’s the amazon choice. Soooo.....why not give it a try and when i say try. Try it. Don’t give it one shot and shoot it a bad review. Because i see so many people do that. I try my items, never would i ever try it once, or if an item came damaged. Not try it and write an awful review like i see so many DoThere’s a reason this is the top amazon choice. It’s because it’s good FOR THE WAY YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO USE IT. JUST MAKE SURE ITS FOR THE RIGHT TYPE OF CRAFTI AM REALLY HOPINF THIS HELPS PEOPLE MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION AND IF WRITING A REVIEW. WRITE IT AFTER ACTUAL USE (AND READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASE AND READ THE ITEM SPECIFICATIONS AS WELL AS THE COMPARISONS). WHEN YOU DONT DO THAT. YOU MIGHT BE TURNING PEOPLE AWAY. FROM A PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY MIGHT BE PERFECT FOR WHAT THE PERSON BUYING THE ITEM NEEDS IT FOR.....Just remember. Glue sticks were popular when u were 4-10 years old. So it’s not for projects probably that have nothing to do with items used back then.Oh. And ELMERS GLUE IS THE ONLY BRAND THAT IS A HOUSEHOLD BRAND THAT EVERYONE KNOWS. SO CLEARLY THIS ONE IS ONE OF THE BETTER PRODUCTS. BRANDS SPEAK VOLUME. DONT BUY AN ITEM A DOLLAR CHEAPER. ITS NOT WORTH IT.
