Start-X Remote Start Starter For Ford F-150 2015-2020, Edge 16-19, Expedition 18-19, || Plugs in to OBD2 Port || No Installation Required || Will Not Work With Any Non Listed Vehicles

installed as instructions stated. worked everytime for a good month then after that it would not work from the key fob (click lock, unlock, then lock again) sometimes. not sure why this happens but the reason I bought this in the first place is because of convenience during winter months to bring the cabin temperature to a reasonable temperature before getting in as well as having my windows defrost. regardless, there really should be an explanation to why this is finicky at times. Does anyone out there know why this happens?

I have a 2018 F150 4x4. A friend told me about this and I ordered it right away hoping it would work with mine. There are 2 types of remote action. I suggest Lock-Unlock-Lock sequence remote start. The one I bought. That way you don't have to listen to the horn blasting remote starting your vehicle. I read the instructions and plugged it in. Turned the key switch on and in in 15 seconds I had remote start. I Highly recommend this to anyone that does not have remote start and wants it. No cutting wires, no tools. Just plug it in to the OBD port and you have remote start. Buy one!

Great product, installation is ridiculously easy. Took me less than 1 minute to install and program. Worked on the first attempt. I recommend this product, can't beat the price and the easy install. Installed in my 2018 F-150 3.5LUpdating my review a year later: it worked for the first winter, but now it does not work. I have tried reprogramming with no success. I can't figure out how to contact the company to ask for advice. So it was great, now, not so much.Ok latest update. I contacted the seller and got help in reprogramming the unit. What finally fixed it wasCycle the ignition on off 5 times within 7 seconds.On the fifth time its in the on position wait for the LED to turn red for 2 seconds.Turn the ignition off.Test the remote start.If it still doesnt start, try the same thing, once more.

Plug and play in my 2019 f150 STX 2.7l eco boost. Can’t be any easier. Been using it for two weeks. No issues. Starts truck from inside house. Has about a city block range(line of sight). If your remote works it will work. Little different than the picture on the website. See my photos of the actual device sent to me. Does not interfere with driving or getting in or out of the truck. Happy with this purchase as an upgrade to the truck.

I installed this on a 2019 F-150. Easy to install but after 3 days it started to fail. Unit then quit altogether. A replacement was sent but it too failed after a month or two. It was after Amazon's free return period so I was stuck with a restocking fee. BAD unit, would not recommend this brand.
