These gloves are great. I am in a wheel chair and have a difficult time getting things out of my oven without burning myself. After doing this a number of times I started checking out Amazon. I found these and liked the description. They work wonderfully... I can pull out each oven rack and grab onto the pan without any pain. They did let some warmth come through when I held a pan that had been under the broiler. I was holding it for almost a minute... I forgot to put it down! It does say to not hold on to objects too long..they are right. The gloves are very flexible and easy to get on and off. I like the rubberized palms, as it helps to hold onto pans, etc, without them slipping. I even used one today to get out a lightbulb that was stuck in the socket. I am sure I will find even more uses as I go along. I am very happy with this purchase.

I enjoy having oven mitts that are malleable, yet completely cover my hand and wrist when in use. Difficult to put on if you're wearing an engagement ring or similar - something other than just a plain band - as it catches on the inside of glove. Biggest complaint is that yes, while the glove does protect you initially from very hot surfaces, you're still not holding onto said hot item for very long, because the heat still transfers quickly and you can still end up burning yourself. I enjoy the additional coverage, but regret spending the extra money over a basic cotton mitt from the local supercenter, since it doesn't work exponentially better like I expected.If you only plan on touching hot items very quickly (say, the time it takes you to switch a hot oven rack position), you'll be fine with these gloves.

When I bought these several months ago in 2017, I relied on the reviews. These glove are "WORTHLESS". I bought them to use indoors. I have a good pair for the Bar B Que, that are well used. I never had a problem. I switched to these because of cost and reviews. What a MISTAKE. The outer fabric has torn or burned about on the thumb and index finger. I used them today to get a pan out of the oven and burned my thumb because of the black material being gone. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. SPEND A LITTLE MORE AND GET A MORE RELIABLE PRODUCT.

The gloves do a decent job for the first couple uses. However, after about the 4th use my fingers started to get burnt when i was pulling out items from the oven. The weigh pressure of a dutch oven + the heat made these gloves useless. Will be returning.

Amazing heat resistance. Lacks in dexterity, but they are oven mitts (gloves)... The higher wrists are great when working over a large grill. I would purchase again, or as a gift for dedicated grillers.

These oven gloves are the best!!! My daughter especially likes to help in the kitchen and was excited to test out the gloves. Although they are a bit big, especially for her small hands, they are perfect for any cook or BBQ enthusiast! The heat resistant material 100% cotton, they are made with, really does resist the heat. They have a double layer that is lined with comfortable cotton (not itchy), and allows your hands to breathe and not sweat.There is silicone striping that gives a strong grip to the pans you hold. This stops any slipping, and would also help for gripping to open bottles.I love that these gloves are machine washable and I am super excited to use them both indoors and outdoors.I highly recommend these heat resistant gloves.

these were OK but did not seem to be as good( heat resistant) as the original blue and white "ove" glove although they are "rated" 300 degrees higher. We have a coal burning Harman stove and the ash drop in the bottom has a tray with a flip up handle which as you can imagine gets very hot to carry outside. I got my old glove wet (these type of gloves any brand do not seem to continue working well after being wet and then dried) so i got these. I did use them but my hands seem to get hot before I got outside. I reordered the "ove" glove

Have used these for over a year and have completely changed my mind, if you try to pick up anything over 350 you will definitely feel the heat! The product description say they offer protection up to 932, if you try that I'll guarantee you will spend time in a hospital. My ovegloves were far better in all regards.
