Package does not include USB A/B cable
The product itself does work as specified (unlike the first one I ordered from a different company). My only complaint is that the package does not come with the USB A/B cable. I didn't read the package details close enough but they could state that the cable needs to be purchased separately and describe the type of cable needed to use the USB (keyboard and mouse) functions remotely. I spent $25 on a cable last minute because my install is first thing in the morning.IF YOU WANT TO USE A KEYBOARD AND MOUSE FROM THE REMOTE (RECEIVER) THEN YOU MUST PURCHASE A USB TYPE A TO B CABLE SEPARATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easy setup, works great UPDATING MY REVIEW after 4 months use
After 4 months of use my monitor has now begun to turn off and on every few seconds. I can connect to the NVR via my pc and its not changing there, so it's this device. Tried changing cables and the gain, but it still drops the video. Very disappointed. I have a set of security cameras that run off a base unit, so the monitor shows 8 camera views. I wanted the device itself to be somewhere not easy to get to by any bad guys so I used this extender to bring the monitor view to my computer desk and the cat5 cable runs through my crawl space to the device. I terminate my own cable ends and the run is only about 50 feet. Works great, easy setup. usb cables were included. My only negative is that it seems I lost a bit of color. Just not quite as good as when the monitor was directly connected. Still good enough though. I can redirect individual cameras and manage the system from my desk. Well worth the price.

Finicky on the gain switch but worth the price. Works on a 100ft run with low signal degradation.
Just received a month ago. Have a 100ft run with good equipment on both sides. At first setup and since I wanted to test before going through full installation the receiver end monitor wasn't showing video clearly. This was due to the gain switch. It takes a little bit to get it right. However, once final install and most likely due to more line impedance due to length of run the gain switch provided ample video stability. I would recommend.

very disappointed , product did not work properly
using cat6 cable and very good connectors run little less than 100ft and after all said and done tested and did not work adj unit as directed and nothing , rebooted and unit come on until you moved mouse and would go out and not come on again until rebooted ,no trouble shooting or phone number to call for support which tells me now I wasted time and money on this product , lesson learned , would NOT advise any one to buy this product !!!!
