Tried this as soon as it arrived. Was dry and crumbly, not the soft squishy babka I've enjoyed from Zabars. Was "okay". Won't be buying this one again.

Don't order this product during summer or early fall when the temps are so high. Product was so and hard and dry that I couldn't eat it, but it was packaged well. Probably not the best thing to order on line, if you want something really fresh to start with.

I ordered two loaves this time, and unfortunately, both arrived very dry and apparently stale. Perhaps it occurred during summer shipping. Anyway, I was quite disappointed. Maybe I'll try again in cooler weather to see if that helps. At this price it should be moist and fresh.

It was good but not real NY babka. It was missing the authentic babka texture.

This Babka cake tastes great! It tastes fresh, homemade style while having all the good parts of a bakery making it. Not having a local bakery near me that sells babka we were so happy to find this on Amazon. Everyone enjoyed it at our party we had and was asking where we got it from! After writing this review I'm going to order another babka cake.

Was so excited to receive this item and it was not good. Stale, dry threw it away

Amazing how good this babka is considering the fact that it came by mail its moist, tender, rich and tasty without exception the babka was a huge hit. When people are eating crumbs from the platter you know you have a hit.

Ordered this based on reviews and description. Tried it right away and will order monthly. So tasty. Not that sweet and nice chocolate flavor. Perfect with a cup of tea or coffee.
