Color By Numbers - Mindfulness (Chartwell Coloring Books)

I've been hooked on color by numbers for a few months now and this is my fourth book. Let me start by saying there are only 3 Mandalas in this book. The cover is a bit deceiving, that is why I'm posting pictures for you. But also, the paper in this book is not good quality. I would compare it to printer paper. I would not recommend using pens or markers. The pictures are printed on only one side of the page but the pages are not perforated. Even only using pencils I have a piece of construction paper behind my page so I don't damage the next picture.There is 61 different pictures in this book.

This book contains some really and varied images from mandalas and patterns to nature scenes and people. The color choices are nice and bright. The images are printed on only one side of decent paper. I use Crayola water based markers and there isn't much bleed through, although I still put a piece of paper behind the page I am coloring to be on the safe side. The paper however does crinkle a little from the markers. There are 61 full sized images to color, plus a few practice pieces in the front introduction. While I don't like all the images in this book (I don't care for all the images of people and patterns), there are images in this book that I do like to make the purchase worthwhile. The colored images in the book flaps is also a plus although I don't try to match exactly, but it helps to see the finished piece with the color choices the authors suggest. I have most of the books in this series and am quite pleased with them.

I have about 15 adult coloring books at home and found that the color by numbers are by far my favorite. To de-stress I don't want to think, so, I like that I don't always have to be creative, I can just focus on coloring. But, if you do get the creative itch, you do not have to follow the colors recommended. The variety in pictures are great! Each picture is printed on one side so you don't have to worry about bleeding through if you use any markers, although I've found that colored pencils work best.

I gave this to my 18 year old daughter for Christmas. Others kinda laughed at the idea but when I saw her buy better colored pencils then I got her online and then send me a picture of one of the pages complete I was happy with my decision to give this to her. She's been a little lost lately and I hope this eases her mind a bit.

I absolutely LOVE this coloring book....SO much so, that I also purchased "Happiness" and "Calm" in this series. I am almost finished with this book. I highly recommend using Prismacolor colored pencils, as they produce such rich colors (and you can buy single pencil replacements as they are used up). Yes, the numbers are often visible under lighter colors, but I don't mind so much.

Great color chart with the names of the colors used. Lot of different pictures. Some of the pictures are very detailed and take a while to finish. Those I go back and forth with while I am coloring another picture. But love the pictures. Looking forward to more color by number books to come out.

I really love this book. There is such a variety of pictures and I'm able to use a lot of different colors. Even though the pages are not perforated, they pull out of the book easily and without issue. I put all my other books down when I got this one.

Can't see the numbers they are too light and small... Jade Summer has the best color by number coloring books in my opinion.

I bought this and 'Calm' and both are absolutely brilliant books. Only one minor complaint, life would be so much easier if the pages were serrated. Wish there more of these books

Libro de mándalas con números muy variado en cuanto a contenido. Contiene vidrieras, paisajes, retratos, animales... contiene resumen de cómo quedan los dibujos, de forma que te permite improvisar o jugar con la gama de colores. Alrededor de 60 dibujos, así que por el precio merece la pena. Hemos hecho varios cuadernos de mándalas con números y este ha sido hasta ahora el que más nos ha gustado, es chulisimo.

I like diversity, but this is too much diversity for my taste. Some images take me out of my comfort zone. It's a pity, because Color by numbers series has always been so satisfying for me. Some pages made me so uncomfortable, I had to rip them of. I now regret that I did not return the book.

I enjoy any color by number book by David Woodroffe. The numbers are easy to see and a nicer variety of pictures.
