Just what I needed!
This padded splint is just what I needed. I have arthritis in my fingers and sometimes I have to put them in "time out" with a splint until the joint pain decreases. Unfortunately, all I had on hand were the unbendable metal ones, which made the pain even worse. My fingers often need to be in a slightly curved position to feel comfortable, which I can do now with this kind of splint. If you want something that absolutely won't bend, get the metal ones with the blue lining, but this works better if you need a little flexibility!

Worth the money
Bought this for my 12year old. She hurt her middle finger. It is pretty long so my husband was able to cut it to make 2. It is easy to bend to mold to finger and hand.

Lightweight comfortable easy to adjust to the right form you want.
It shows two splints I only received one, but it was pretty long, but those splints the metal is bendable so you can adjust to the correct position and it’s comfortable and you could cut it and you can curve the end of it. It’s very nice and expensive.

Great for DIY splint
I’ve tried so many finger “fixes”without success. Delighted to find this exactly as described: moldable padded aluminum. I used it to make a fingertip splint that (A) actually fit my finger, (B) customized the bend and angle so it braces my finger properly, and (C) can get wet without falling apart.

So long!!
I should have paid attention to the length of it. I didn't know u have to cut it to the size u need. And then u have to fix the part u cut so it's not sharp. After that they seem to do the job. Has a nice thick padding to it.

Aluminum Splint
Worked in Orthopedics for 12 years so I've been getting some medical supplies for simple problems. Only had that splinter about 3 weeks before having to use a piece on Hubby's finger. 😆 🤣 He was impressed with my skills in how I formfitted the splint to be comfortable. Still have about 2/3 left. His Dr said she couldn't have done anything differently.

Great if you have hot dogs for fingers
There is nothing wrong with the item itself, it just shouldn't be advertised as a finger splint. It's about the size of a hot dog, maybe even a bratwurst.

Customizable
This was perfect to splint a broken finger, and it can be cut to size easily. Just put some medical tape around it so that the skin is protected and you are good to go!
