Handmade Ceramic Knitting Bowl, Porcelain Yarn Bowl, Crochet, Mother's gift

Description

A lovely knitting bowl with hand carved hook to hold a yarn ball and thread the yarn through as you work. I threw this piece on the wheel and carved out the hook to hold the yarn. I hand painted the orchid with oxides and underglazes before bisque firing and then glaze firing with a clear glaze to highlight the beautiful creamy porcelain and flower colors. A special gift for any occaision. 5 1/2" by 4" tall
